• Conduct research to identify key climate risks in Singapore and other major cities in Southeast Asia;
• Examine instances of successful adaptation or maladaptation, and path dependencies in climate risk reduction approaches;
• Contribute to the development of a climate risk communication platform built around immersive virtual reality narratives;
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, policymakers, and other stakeholders to translate research findings into actionable policies and practices;
• Publish research findings in high-impact interdisciplinary journals and present at international conferences;

Job Description:

- Integrate, install, service, and troubleshoot auto-mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, according to process instructions

- Carry out calibration / acceptance test on sub-systems/equipment, according to process instructions

- Perform functional checks, setting, testing, fault finding and failure analysis

- Provide support services in users' training courses, and other operational exercises

Job Requirements:

Working Location: Bukit Batok Care Home

This role will be responsible to perform daily housekeeping functions and maintain high standard of hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen of the Nursing Home.

You will support the Operations Support Assistant and Ops Support Executive (OSE) to work with outsourced vendors to ensure the safe and proper management, kitchen cleanliness, handling, plating and delivery of food to residents

The detailed duties are as follows:

• Assist in the maintenance of food hygiene (taking delivery of food, storage of food, food temperature maintenance, food preparation)
• Upkeep environmental cleanliness (washing of dishes and cutlery), includes daily cleaning and weekly deep cleaning
• Ensure proper handling of chemicals
• Report any maintenance deficiencies detected within the kitchen to the Operations Support Assistant and/or Ops Support Exec.
• Ensure kitchen supplies are adequate to meet the daily needs of the nursing home
• Keep work areas free of hazardous conditions. Ensure that kitchen tools / equipment are cleansed and properly stored after usage.
• Work with vendors to receive food
• Work with the Centre Manager to audit the kitchen facilities
• Conduct plating activities if required

Requirements:

• Basic English Language Proficiency to communicate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
• Service oriented and customer focused
• Related experience in hospitality or food & beverage industry will be preferred.
• Able to work on rotating shifts

Tax Manager Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Singapore tax regulations and be able to lead our tax team efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of tax executives to ensure timely and accurate tax filings, submissions, and compliance for clients.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax positions for clients.
• Oversee and manage all direct and indirect tax compliance matters, including GST, corporate tax, and withholding tax.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and laws in Singapore.
• Provide tax advisory services to clients on corporate restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, and other related matters.
• Act as a key liaison with IRAS and other tax authorities on audits and other tax-related matters.
• Mentor and develop the tax team to ensure high performance and ongoing professional development.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including accounting and corporate secretarial departments, to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
• Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and provide training to internal teams as required.
