The Bed Management Unit (BMU) coordinates and provides efficient and clinically appropriate ward placement of all patients entering or within the National University Hospital.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing bed allocation services and administrative duties in BMU
• Perform bed allocation duties with SAP and other systems, complying to a set of rules and priorities as established by the hospital, and assignment of beds to patients shall be in accordance to patients' needs and choice where possible
• To be able to identify potential bed tight situation and activate bed tight measures
• Coordinate patient movement with wards and other departments based on bed status
• Answer phone calls to handle bed enquiries and respond to or follow up on bed/transfer requests
• To assist in the preparation of management reports and provide statistics as and when required
• Ad-Hoc writing of reports and statistics
• Offer emotional support and help patients cope with their illnesses
• Any other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer

Requirements

• Diploma in any discipline
• Possess minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in healthcare
• Conversant with essential software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point and knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• Possess good oral and written communication skills
• Must be a good team player with positive work attitude and able to work independently
• Comfortable with shift working hours

PURPOSE OF JOB

Support the system and network administration for all IT systems thus providing a reliable platform and foundation for all IT business applications. Responsibilities include efficient and effective performance of all server hardware, operating systems, cabling, networks and communication and IT infrastructure.

JOB FUNCTION

• Responsible for Level 2 & 2 IT Infrastructure support, and all aspects of servers, network equipment, backup, network equipment, UPS, servers room equipment and other peripherals which includes implementation, patching, installation, and configuration.
• Administering, maintaining, and managing the computer systems - Operating Systems and Communication Systems.
• Maintains documentation regarding security and service records relating to hardware, software, and IT infrastructure.

• Conduct periodic maintenance, audit and compliance for servers, UPS, and network equipment.
• Facilitate and liaison with all outsourced vendors for all application remote support and Move-Add-Change requests.
• Ensuring computer and information security by implementing relevant procedures and standards.
• Periodic update all servers, network devices to latest security patches and firmware. Conduct regular or quarterly servers, network, UPS audit and preventive maintenance.
• Adhere to internal Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) and deliverables.
• Documentation.
• Any other work assigned by Manager.

Interfaces with end-users, technical support personnel in the corporation and HQ.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

A diploma or degree holder preferably in Computer studies, Networking or Communications with at least 5 years working experience in the IT industry. Should be a team player and a reliable, responsible, and diligent person that possesses initiative.

• Min. 3 years hand-on experience in administrating Windows Active Directory, Windows Servers, DNS, Office 365 Admin, MS Azure, and other system related issues.
• Min. 2 years hand-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting network equipment, VPN, and wireless Access point.
• Min. 2 years hand-on experience in managing and configuration of Hyper-V, Microsoft Authenticator, SharePoint, networking and troubleshooting etc.
• Min. 2 years hand-on experience in Virtualization Technology VMware and Hyper-V.

Responsibilities:

• To support Japanese expatriates with their smooth relocation process including visa support, setting up bank accounts, housing/service apartments etc.
• Conduct onboarding and offboarding orientation.
• Support Japanese expatriates with their employee benefits arrangements such as children education allowances, medical expenses, housing allowance and memberships etc.
• Arrange billing with Tokyo HQ including JAS fees, trainee fees etc.
• Manage golf sets and corporate golf memberships maintenance including application, transfers and cancellation for subsidiary companies.
• Update and maintain HR-related data such as headcounts report, mailing list, organization charts, contact lists etc.
• Research and report on housing rental trends for negotiation of allowances review with Tokyo HQ.
• Maintain relationships and negotiate corporate rates with service apartment vendors.
• To support VIP visits, organize meetings and gatherings for Japanese expatriates.
• Organize crisis management simulations exercise including for subsidiary companies.
• Manage the documentations for corporate ACRA filing and update.
• Stand-in as Personal Assistant for General Manager (GM)/Acting GM in case of secretary absence.
• Any other ad-hoc administrative tasks to be assigned.

The Training Operations and Administrative Assistant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of training programs, efficient administrative processes, and effective project and inbox management. Key Responsibilities

1. Training Program and Operations Preparation
