Sustainabilityforms a core research priority for SMU under its Vision 2025 research strategy. We are currently hiring and looking for a resourceful and highly motivated individual to join our expanding Marketing teams as:

Delivery Driver cum Store Assistant

• Class 3 licence and experienced in driving.
• Forklift licence is an added advantage.
• Clean driving record is a must.
• Should be comfortable with loading/unloading goods and handling heavy goods.
• 5 days work week; 8.30am to 6pm.
• Candidates with no driving licence, but have forklift licence will be considered for Warehouse Assistant position.
• Vehicle cannot drive back home.

Deployment :

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7.30am to 3.45pm, inclusive of 45mins lunch break
• Fridays: 7.30am to 3.15pm, inclusive of 45mins lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Scope of Works:

• Assist Nutrition & Food Science teachers in food preparation, storage of food and general kitchen maintenance including mopping of floors for all classes and stock check.
• Assist in collation of food orders and liaise with the suppliers e.g., faxing or orders made by teachers.
• Assist in the checking of food delivery, proportioning of ingredients for cooking lessons and stock of food supply.
• Assist teachers during cooking lessons and clean up after lessons.
• Maintain kitchen safety and equipment.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of every room in the department
• To do general cleaning e.g., washing of aprons, kitchen towels, etc. and maintenance of kitchen and NFS Hub including mopping of kitchen floors regularly.
• To do stocktake, thorough cleaning of food labs utensils, equipment, and cabinets during holiday periods

Key Appointments:

• Oversee the ongoing development of Singlife Financial Advisers’ Wealth Managers (WMs).
• Role: VP, Adviser Academy. This role is pivotal in ensuring the competency and professionalism of WMs. To equip WMs with foundational knowledge to help them succeed in their career with SFA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Training Development: Create Training Roadmaps for new and experienced WMs to chart their development plan. Design and develop comprehensive training programs aligned to the competencies of our WMs. This will include training content for new WMs, as well as curriculum to upskill existing, experienced WMs.
• Facilitation: Deliver effective training sessions across various platforms, including classroom, virtual, and eLearning environments. Incorporate adult learning principles into training to ensure maximum trainee engagement.
• Performance Analysis: Conduct a detailed Training Needs Analysis to ensure training is targeted to meet the salesforce needs. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through detailed assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, and make necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement.
• Market Relevance: Stay updated with the latest training trends and industry best practices and integrate these insights into the training curriculum.

Key Decisions within the Role

• Provide a training plan to prioritize IBF accreditation of SFA’s inhouse training programs.
• Ensure latest industry developments in the financial industry is updated in the relevant training curriculum.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in training and development in the insurance industry
• Experience in applying for IBF accreditation (added advantage)

Education

• Academic: Bachelor’s degree
• Professional Certification(s): AFP / CFP / AFC / ChFC (added advantage)
• Coaching Certification (added advantage)

Responsibilities:

• Enforces company rules and regulation and requirements of the Port Facility Security Plan
• Drafts and maintains company procedures and risk assessment, ensuring company procedures, risk assessments and instructions are followed and updated when necessary
• Oversees and troubleshoots Security systems under the security department such as CCTV system, access control gantries, barriers, etc
• Retrieves and stores CCTV footages required for investigation cases
• Maintains inventory of Security IT/OT devices and the status of each device
• Oversees the repairs and maintenance of Security IT/OT devices. This includes discussing with network and IT teams on activities that may affect regular security operations and coordinating steps to resolve vulnerability issues such as patch updates and others.
• Logs, reports and addresses Security IT/OT hardware and software faults to the correct party and follow up on each case under the issue has been resolved
• Assists Security Manager to review and update technology data risk assessment
• Collates and organizes information collated from Security Department Records such as Security Daily Reports, Cases Statistics, Patrol Findings & Detection Records, Leading & Lagging Statistics, Visitor Entry/Exit Logs, Outward Permit Records, etc.
• Develops and manages databases of Security related information
• Identifies and interprets trends or patterns that could lead to potential security exploits through data analysis
• Creates management dashboards to assist in tracking of departmental activity progress and quick generation of reports
• Performs other assignments as assigned by Security Manager

Requirements:

• 3 years of relevant working experience performing technology-related work
• Familiar with Microsoft Office suite of applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms, Power Automate, PowerApps, etc
• Good technical knowledge of computers, access control systems & devices, CCTV hardware and software and other common security, IT and OT equipment
• Has experience managing security IT/OT systems such as CCTV hardware / software, access control, biometric or card door and gantry systems, cark park barrier systems, Patrol Clocking devices, etc
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Physically fit to perform checks and inspection on tools, equipment and systems in yard operational areas, building and perimeter
• Able to single handedly resolve and converse with relevant IT departments or suppliers on physical security system issues
