We are looking for a Retail Associate to join us as we strive to deliver world-class service to our customers. As a sales professional, knowledge of the sales process is crucial - prospecting, qualifying, selling, overcoming objections, closing the deal and follow up. The incumbent will be responsible for the following:

• Promoting and selling products and services. Achieve the monthly sales target set by the Company
• Ensure that every customer who visits the store is acknowledged with a friendly greeting. Provide assistance and information required to encourage a purchase
• Eager to learn and participate in the company's training programs
• Perform tasks such as cleaning of the store, unpacking of stock, maintenance of musical instruments and other administrative tasks as necessary
• Perform cashiering duties
• Replenish displays to ensure that there is sufficient stock for selling and that visual merchandising is attractive to customers
• Establish long-term relationships with key customers, taking note of their preferences and past purchases

• Knowledge of musical instruments is a must. (Drum, Guitar, Bass, Ukulele or Digital Audio Workstation knowledge)
• Have an outgoing personality and enjoy talking to people
• A strong ability to connect with customers and sell
• Understand customer service principles and is able to provide an excellent customer experience
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office & Google Drive applications, and ability to learn using the in-house ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and cashiering system

Job Responsibilities

Security Assessment, Planning and Control

• Ensure the security compliance and proficiency of cloud services and virtualized environment,
• Conduct both annual and ad hoc security cloud outsourcing review stipulated by Head Office, country regulators and/or local outsourcing committee as and when required.
• Conduct monthly security access review for Human Capital Management Department.
• Develop, implement, and review security policies and user matrix to safeguard employee’s data.
• Respond to compliance team on security incidents and implement corrective actions,
• Provide training and awareness programs for Human Capital Management Department.
• Evaluate and recommend new security tools and technologies.
• Ensure latest patches are applied to all Human Capital Management’s system in a timely manner.
• Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity plan to ensure infrastructure resilience.

Project Management

• Be part of the HRIS project team as a designated project assignee, e.g., Project Manager, Security SME, Data SME etc., to help ensure project is planned and executed smoothly from initiation to closure.
• Represent Human Capital Management Department as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all Infra security and data integration matters for automation projects. Coordinate and implement solutions in accordance with security rules with Japan Head Office Security team, and ensure compliance with regulators PDPA requirements, if any.
• Act as liaison between end users, Human Capital Management team and IT team, wherever applicable, to understand business requirements for HR related Cloud (SaaS) solutions.
• Prepare and present regular project updates and ensure solid documentation or business requirements and changes.
• Prepare and put forward budget plans for identified project initiatives, influencing, and negotiating with Japan Head Office to obtain support from them, if applicable.
• Be an agent of change for digitalization initiatives by advocating and helping users to understanding the purpose of change.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent with around 5-7 years of experience in providing IT services to financial institutions.
• Experience with regional project implementation.
• Proficiency in Japanese is an advantage as this role needs to communicate with stakeholders (Security Dept) in Japan Head Office.
• In-depth knowledge of Cloud platform and security, and/or, adopt a highly motivated mindset to quickly learn and catch up with those technologies in the ever-changing technology landscape.
• Good techno-functional skills with SAP SuccessFactors would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with MAS cloud outsourcing would be an advantage.
• Strong stakeholder management is a critical skillset.
• Possess strong and assertive verbal, written communication skills and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities and be motivated to continuous learning about work related matters.
• Good bi-directional and collaborative attitude to work as a professional in a team.
• Willing to take an ad-hoc project as necessary, e.g., leading minor projects or change request whenever bandwidth permits.

What a Marketing Data Scientist does at Visa:

The position will be based in Visa’s Singapore office. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of analytical challenges across consumer behavior analytics, marketing campaign measurement, predictive modeling, alternative marketing data capability development such as matching research data to internal transaction data, etc. S/he will have a highly analytical bent of mind and requisite skills to independently analyze and interpret data insights.

• Conduct statistical analyses on transaction data with big data tools like Hadoop and Spark to identify interesting and valuable insights and trends, produce visualization and reports to internal and external teams
• Supporting the development of a robust system for measuring and optimizing the quality of deployed algorithms and models.
• Monitoring AI models in production to evaluate performance, model drift, and decay.
• Actively seek out opportunities to innovate by using VisaNet, non-traditional data and new modelling techniques fit for purpose to the needs of our clients
• Act as data science advocate within our partners, advising and coaching analytical teams and sharing best practices and case studies.

Projects you will be a part of:

The nature of projects this role will play a key role in vary. This would include collaborating with Visa Marketing teams, primarily the Insights & Analytics team to help solve our clients’ most strategic business problems by leveraging data science solutions, such as working on integrating VisaNet data with other external datasets .

• Matched Panel/Research: Integrate Survey based consumer data with Visanet proprietary datasets to enrich transactional information with demographic, attitudinal and behavioral information to help Visa & our client’s measure their campaigns and drive loyalty.
• Marketing Measurement: Measure and optimize Visa and our clients’ campaigns through a variety of methodologies ranging from experiments (test and control) to econometric models
• Time-series/predictive models: build and use simulations to understand what if scenarios, and projected outcomes of media investments vs not investing
• Consumer behavior analytics: Design and develop analytics for Visa and our clients’ to quantify transactional and payment volume outcomes of changing consumer behavior, e.g. loading card on file, subscribing to streaming services, tapping to pay.
