This project aims to advance the field of photon-modulated organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs), with a particular focus on photon-modulated electrochemical doping systems for flexible OECTs. This research is critical for advancing OECT-based circuits in bioelectronics, wearable electronics, and artificial neuromorphic electronics (e.g., optoelectronic synapses). A postdoctoral researcher is sought to contribute to this cutting-edge research, which lies at the intersection of organic semiconductors, materials science, and electrochemistry. The Laboratory of Applied Human Genetics at the National Cancer Centre Singapore is a multi-disciplinary laboratory with specific focus on peritoneal malignancies and sarcoma. The direction of our laboratory is to solve real world clinical problems via sound scientific translation. Since the conception of our laboratory 7 years ago, we have now set up three scientific pillars of Therapeutics, Companion Diagnostic and CAPTIVATE (Target Generation) pipeline. Currently, we are working towards a first-in-human therapeutic developed in our laboratory. We are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic and highly motivated Research Fellow to work with a team of researchers in the area of cancer therapy for advanced metastatic cancers. Responsibilities:

• Conduct both quantitative (e.g., online surveys) and qualitative (e.g., focus group moderation) research to understand social trends and public opinion.
• Oversee research projects from inception to delivery, and coordinate research activities (e.g.,project management, data analysis, design questionnaires and discussion guides, respondent recruitment, managing respondents) amongst cross-functional teams to ensure timely and impactful insights.
• Assist with managing client queries, expectations and relationships.
• Manage accounts and contribute to sale pitch to potential clients
• Create highly actionable and digestible reports in PowerPoint.
• Present results of study confidently to external clients across working levels.
• Assist teammates in administrative tasks and operations, when required.

Requirements:

• Degree in any discipline with a passion for research.
• Experience in social research, and familiar with quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
• Must have focus group moderation experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and consultative mindset.
• Competency with Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in statistical software and qualitative analysis tools is preferred.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be performing statutory audit of financial statements including audit planning, review and execution of audit engagements of various entities in different industries.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• perform audits relating to a portfolio of companies across a broad spectrum of industries.
• be responsible for the planning, execution and documentation of audit fieldwork.
• follow up on audit findings independently. For senior associates, you shall be expected to lead audit engagements, and guide the junior associates on the engagement team.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

• have an ACCA qualification or accounting degree which is recognised by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, or have the Chartered Accountant of Singapore qualification.
• have at least 1 year of relevant audit experience for associate level or minimum of 3 years experience for senior associate level.
• preferably possess knowledge of Caseware audit software.
• have sound knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Singapore Standards on Auditing
• have strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. The ability to read and interpret technical standards and routine commercial contracts is essential.

Job Description

A Research Assistant is needed to provide technical, research, and administrative support for ongoing projects in our flexible electronics laboratory.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct experiments under the general guidance of the Principal Investigator (PI) and senior researchers; monitor, document, and report experimental results and research findings.
• Collect, manage, and analyze data; assist in preparing reports and research summaries.
• Contribute to the preparation of scientific manuscripts and other publications.
• Support project management activities and provide guidance to master and undergraduate students.
• Coordinate with vendors for the operation, maintenance, and servicing of laboratory equipment and facilities.
• Assist with the procurement of consumables and new equipment, working with the department, CPO, and Finance teams on purchasing and payment processes.
• Work closely with the PI and lab members on research-related tasks, assisting in the smooth functioning of the laboratory and research group.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the PI.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a research or laboratory setting (preferred).
• Proficiency in laboratory safety protocols and adherence to best practices in a research environment.
• Willingness to work on a fixed-term contract.
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a research or team-based setting.
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
