• Drive complex, cross-functional projects with ownership of select project initiatives, driving alignment and enabling decision making across multiple Google product areas to achieve sales and partnership goals.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities:

GST Compliance & Reporting:

• Manage and oversee the GST compliance process for a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate filing of GST returns.
• Monitor clients' GST positions, ensuring they comply with local laws and regulations, including accurate reporting and payment.
• Review GST reconciliation and liaise with tax authorities regarding assessments, audits, and queries.

GST Advisory & Planning:

• Provide expert advice on GST-related matters, including tax structuring, transaction reviews, and managing indirect tax risks.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Lead, mentor, and train junior members of the tax team in GST compliance and advisory services.

Research & Analysis:

• Stay updated on changes to GST laws, regulations, and administrative procedures.

• Provide technical analysis and support for complex GST queries, ruling applications, and other indirect tax issues.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
• A relevant professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CA, or equivalent) is preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in GST, preferably in a Big 4, audit firm or tax consultancy, and 2-5 years of GST experience for Senior Associate position.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in GST advisory and compliance, preferably within an audit firm or a tax consultancy firm for Managers and above.
• In-depth knowledge of GST laws, regulations, and tax administration, with experience handling complex tax issues.
• Proven experience managing GST audits, investigations, and liaising with tax authorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and client management skills, with the ability to deliver clear and practical advice.
• Experience with tax and financial reporting software is advantageous.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Group Supervisor, the Programme Coordinator/Social Work Associate works closely with the team to serve clients and caregivers.

• Assist to plan, coordinate and execute outreach activities to educate the public, seniors and partner stakeholders on dementia and mental health awareness.
• Assessment and review information and referral service and monitoring of clients with mental health needs, and dementia.

Candidate Profile:

• Diploma required for Program Coordinators. Diploma in Social Work will be preferred for Social Work Associates.
