The Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID) Programme aims to pioneer the development and discovery of new and more effective methods for the treatment, prevention and control of new and emerging pathogens. The key outcome of the research will be the early identification of new pathogens, out of which new diagnostic tests, treatments and control strategies will be developed.

The laboratory of Immunotherapy in HBV Infection within the EID Programme is focused on the study of immune response of Hepatitis B and the liver microenvironment. The Memory Aging & Cognition Centre (MACC) is a Research Center within the National University Health System funded by the Singapore National Medical Research Council that focuses on the study of dementia and cognitive impairment in the elderly. • setting and running DELFT3D Flexible Mesh (DELFT3D-FM) model using past and projected atmospheric forces downscaled by an atmospheric team;
• use model experiments and data analysis to compute and understand mechanisms of regional (SEA) and Singapore Strait storm surge variability and trend driven by larger scale atmosphere/ocean processes.

Candidate will be having Ph.D. in ocean/coastal sciences/engineering from a reputable University.

A Research Assistant position is available immediately in the Li-Ren Kong and Sanjay De Mel research team. Duties & Responsibilities

Research:
- Handling and processing clinical samples for genomics and proteomics analyses, including the establishment of long-term culture models for in-depth molecular characterization and functional studies.
- Organize and document experimental results systematically.
- Analyse data and summarise findings for the research team.

Administrative duties:
- Assist with lab housekeeping and administrative duties as needed.
- To maintain the N2CR Avatar portal, including registering & updating new entries and keeping track of the usage of the portal.
- To assist with administrative or ad hoc duties under the N2CR organoid interest group.

Qualifications
