We are seeking a Staff Nurse/Assistant Nurse with experience in outpatient Ear, Nose, Throat, and facial plastic specialist care. The job is based in a specialist clinic in Camden Medical, Gleneagles Hospital and/or Mt Elizabeth Novena Specialist Centre and involves clinic work with some assistance provided to doctors on the wards.

There are five doctors in the group practice.

The clinic consists of clinic receptionists and clinic assistants.

The clinic is supported by three operations staff from a corporate office located in United Square.

Working times are 0830-1730 Monday to Friday and 0830-1300 Saturday.

Staff is given one Saturday and one half-day morning off a month after confirmation.

The clinics are open 0900-1300 and 1400-1730 from Monday to Friday and 0900-1300 on Saturday.

The job entails the following roles and responsibilities;

1. Overall responsibility for the clinical care and safety of patients including the adherence to all clinical safety and infection control SOPs

2. Ensuring strict adherence to MOH licensing requirements and the renewal of clinic license

3. Drug dispensing to patients

4. Drug stock keeping (3 monthly stock take)

5. Maintaining and updating the resuscitation and emergency trolley

6. Vetting through all clinical results that come to the clinic and notifying doctors

7. Performing hearing tests (training will be provided)

Work Life Balance:

5.5 days work week Monday - Friday: 8:30 am - 6 pm Saturday: 8:30 am - 1:00 pm

For every 2 weeks, there will be one day off on the weekday.

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from a reputable institution of higher learning
• Relevant research experience is preferred
• Proficiency in programming in Python and related packages
• Knowledge in large language models, databases (including SQL), NLP, and machine learning.
• Experience with research works is preferred
• Good analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
• Applicants with research publications in AI or NLP area will be advantageous
• Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members

• Developing research models and methods for robust and safe reinforcement learning
• Prototyping the developed methods
• Evaluating the developed methods on safe reinforcement learning tasks such as blocks world, robotics
• Ensuring these methods are integrated into the overall showcase for the project

• Minimum PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or closely related computing focused disciplines from a reputable institution of higher learning
• Minimum 0-2 years of relevant research experience in Reinforcement Learning, Autonomous Agent Systems, Automated planning
• Publications in top-tier AI and ML conferences such as AAAI, IJCAI, ICAPS, AAMAS, ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR
• Expert Proficiency in programming languages such as python is required (at least 4 years)
• Demonstrated experience and know-how on Reinforcement Learning, automated planning
• Experience in training and finetuning large language models
• Demonstrated experience in deep learning (at least 3 years)
• Publicly available source codes for published research papers
• Relevant course work in algorithms, data structure, probability, statistics, AI and machine learning
