We are seeking highly motivated, conscientious and meticulous individuals to join our experienced team, be trained in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and be involved in research aimed at improving the treatment of patients with cancer.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. work in a (GMP)-certified facility manufacturing immune cells for clinical use, including CAR-T cells.
2. apply various techniques in tissue culture, molecular biology, flow cytometry under rigorous GMP conditions, for which training will be provided.
3. work effectively within a team of other skilled cell engineers
4. be able to practice meticulous bookkeeping and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
5. Maintain the highest standard of professional conduct and record keeping in accordance with policies and procedures.
6. Assist with any other duties of a similar nature that are delegated by the PI.

Qualifications

The applicant should:

1. Have a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences (those with no experience are welcome to apply)
2. Have experience in general laboratory techniques, especially aseptic tissue culture techniques
3. Be able to work independently and in a team, have an investigative nature with great attention to detail
4. Have knowledge of computer applications, e.g. MS word, MS excel

Position – Research Assistant in Cell Biology and Technology Unit

Job Scope:

· Tool generation – expression vector construction and molecular cloning, protein expression, stable cell lines development

· Drug screening – ELISA, FACS, cell-based functional assay, confocal microscopy, SDS-PAGE, Western Blotting, qPCR etc.

· Cell culture – Suspension cell culture and adherent cell culture, 3D cell culture models, such as spheroid, organoid, organ slice and organ-on-a-chip

· Lab management

Requirements:

· Degree in Biomedical Science/Biotechnology/Molecular Biotechnology or a related field with at least 1-2 years of related working experience.

· Familiar with basic laboratory procedures especially mammalian cell culture.

· Experience in Molecular Biology, Protein Chemistry, 3D Cell culture, Cell engineering, Flow Cytometry, Confocal Microscopy, NGS analysis and other relevant skills will be an added advantage.

· In vivo sample handling experience is plus but not necessary.

· Programming skill ,for example Python, is also plus.

· Working experience in either industry or academia is welcome.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of advanced forms of qualitative data collection methodologies and techniques, analysis and interpretation with the ability to apply to agency work.
• Experience in moderating groups and in-depth interviews with both large and small groups and executing research.
• Experience in using various technology platforms for both online synchronous and asynchronous Qualitative research.
• Capable of steering a project and team through analysing a diverse array of inputs and crafting a cohesive and compelling story.
• At least 13 years or more experience in brand strategy, product innovation or qualitative consumer research.
• A degree in relevant field (advanced degree preferred) – Can also include Social Psychology, Anthropology, Innovation & Design, Business analytics etc.
