EOS invites applications for a Research Fellow in palynology (pollen) and sedimentology research relating to tropical mangrove environments in Singapore. The position will involve the use of sedimentary cores to reconstruct the geomorphic evolution of mangrove systems and investigate mangrove survival thresholds and ecological tipping points relating to past sea-level change. The position is a key component of the Marine Climate Chance Science (MCCS) Programme aimed at assessing the long-term viability of mangroves as nature-based climate solutions in Singapore.
