Main Purpose of the Job:

The Lead Resident Technical Officer represents clients on construction sites. He/She must be able to read and interpret architectural drawings and details of construction projects and ensures that construction projects follow contracts and regulations. ABOUT THE COMPANY

We are working with a leading international law firm with offices across the globe. They are looking for a Risk & Compliance Officer to join their Singapore team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Undertake conflict searches, conduct due diligence, analyse reports, escalate potential issues accordingly
• Handle new business intake, carry out full risk analysis
• Ensure that regulations such as AML/SRA CoC are adhered to
• Provide support on use of compliance systems

KEY COMPETENCIES/ SKILL SETS

• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a business, legal or related professional services firm (*we also welcome fresh grads to apply)
• Have a demonstrable interest with Risk and Compliance
• Highly organised, resourceful, detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks
• Excellent communication skills

Job Responsibilities

1. Attends daily briefing

2. Performs the check-in and check-out process in a friendly and efficient manner

3. Performs cashiering duties

4. Prints back up reports on every shift

5. Responsible for the issuance of guest room keys

6. Performs blocking of rooms

7. Coordinates with Housekeeping team on room status

8. Responsible for updating of guest data and other information in the Opera PMS system

9. Upsells hotel room whenever possible

10. Handles guest complaints/feedback in the absence of the supervisor

11. Maintains Hotel’s set service standards

12. Practices Safe Measures Management to assist with prevention of any pandemic

13. Performs other tasks that as and when assigned by the Management

Education/ Work Experience / Work Details

1. GCE ‘O’/’N’ Level

2. At least 2 years in a similar position

3. Team player with a friendly and positive personality

4. Good knowledge on Opera PMS system

5. Good grooming standard

6. 5 day work week

7. Work on weekends, Public Holidays, day/night shift

Scope of Services

• The services are set out as follows, duties include:
• Maintain general cleanliness of school compound including cleaning of CCA venues, staff rooms and special rooms. This will include sweeping, mopping & clearing of rubbish etc
• Arranging/re-arranging furniture for meetings/exams/functions as and when required
• Moving heavy objects from point to point
• Locking/unlocking classrooms
• Operate and maintain basic office equipment & materials if required
• Any other task assigned by the Reporting Officer

Qualification :

• Ability to communicate effectively and work in teams.
• Prior experience in any of the below areas would be an advantage:
• Logistics-related work
• Cleaning duties
• Administrative roles
• School-related experience
• Have an acceptable level of fitness and resilience to be able to perform the role effectively.
• Ability to work on rotating shifts & Saturdays, if necessary
