Job Scope:

• Handle monthly payroll processing including CPF, income tax, government claims, etc
• Provide HR administrative support
• Handling medical benefits & scheme and arrange annual medical checkup
• Manage on-boarding, off-boarding, insurance administration & renewal, etc
• Work pass administration
• Administration of HR system (Unit4/BIPO)
• Update organization charts, furnish data for surveys
• Handling of corporate card matters
• Process business trip claims
• Support for crisis management such as Business Continuity Plan & Emergency Response Management as well as handling of emergency kits
• Fire drill preparation & arrangement, updates of emergency contact, safety confirmation exercise
• Organize & coordination of company’s event
• Assist in other ad-hoc admin duties including courier service, procurement, office leasing & related matters

Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma / GCE O Levels
• Possess minimum 2 - 4 years’ of HR and Payroll experience
• Knowledge & experience in HR laws & regulations
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Good interpersonal & communications skills
• Detailed-oriented & meticulous, able to multi-task
• Able to commence work immediately or with short notice is advantageous

Officer/Senior Officer (Accounts Department, Banking, 1-Year contract)

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Department Officer to join their team.
The ideal candidate should be well-versed in accounting and local reporting standards, proficient in handling full sets of accounts, and dedicated to ensuring compliance with accepted accounting principles set by internal and external authorities, including MAS, ACRA, IRAS, and others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of accounting principles to manage full sets of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards
• Reporting: Prepare and submit regular and ad-hoc reports for Management, Head Office, Auditors, and relevant authorities in a timely and organized manner
• Operational Support: Assist the Head of Operations in the daily operations of the Accounts Department, covering financial and management accounting, statutory reporting functions, and tax-related matters
• Compliance Assurance: Ensure accurate, timely, and orderly completion and submission of all accounting reports and returns, including MAS returns, MAS Surveys, and financial reports
• Financial Statements and Tax Compliance: Handle the preparation and reporting of financial statements, corporate tax, and GST filing, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations
• Tax Liaison: Engage with IRAS regarding GST, Income Tax, and any other tax issues, and liaise with ACRA for the submission of reports and related matters
• Audit Management: Assist the Head of Operations in managing both internal and external audits
• External Consultants: Support the management of external consultants, ensuring the bank's compliance with the submission of statutory reports and returns
• Meeting Preparation: Prepare relevant materials and reports for meetings attended by the Head of Accounts
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Liaise with all relevant departments, including Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Compliance, Legal, Risk Management, HR, IT, etc
• Project Management: Manage assigned projects efficiently and effectively

Job Requirements:

• Education: Accredited degree
• Previous experience in regulatory reporting within a bank in Singapore, with a strong understanding of MAS 610 and MAS 649
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a bank in Singapore.
• Good knowledge of banking products
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Accounting System
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to articulate issues effectively to managers
• Cheerful disposition and a positive attitude
