Responsibilities:

• Personally manage and actively supervise the management of key accounts. Closely monitor accounts' revenue and business production.
• Proactively seek in-depth knowledge of owned accounts to understand its total revenue impact on the hotel for better negotiation opportunities.
• Manage assigned account base to exceed targets for total revenue
• Develop and maintain contact with key decision makers, influencers, meeting planners, event organisers, associations and other producers closely aligned to each business unit
• Act as a trusted business advisor by clients; ensure that commitments are met and value is delivered
• Conduct sales-related activities (such as sales calls, site inspections and in-house entertainments)
• Conduct sales blitzes and tele-sales to develop new businesses.
• Monitor and report on sales activity undertaken and measurement of results through maintaining of accurate records in the sales tools and action plans
• Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).
• Monitor competitor practices and accounts and diagnostic tools in order to understand competitor trends
• Involve in the day-to-day pricing discussion on key accounts under his/her portfolio in conjunction with the Director of Sales.
• Gain understanding of the property’s primary target customer and service expectations; serves customer by understanding their business, business issues and concerns to offer better business solution both prior to, and during the event.
• Monitor the effective resolution of guest issues that arise as a result of the sales process by creating mechanisms to channel issues to property leadership and/or other appropriate stakeholders.
• Ensure active management of individual GAPs and personal development plan.
