We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team as a Junior Accounts Assistant. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and support tasks to the Finance department, playing a key role in maintaining accurate and timely financial records.

What You Will Do At Quant Matter?

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including entering invoices, preparing payments, and reconciling bank statements.
• Assist with general ledger maintenance, recording and categorizing financial transactions.
• Prepare and subm it basic financial reports, such as accounts payable and receivable aging reports, and reporting to management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems for financial documents.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures and other accounting tasks as assigned.
• Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Assist with annual financial audits.
• Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Our Ideal Candidates Would Have

• Familiarity with blockchain transactions and on-chain asset tracking.
• Accounting or Finance Diploma or equivalent required, associate degree preferred but not required.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Greet visitors and answer phones in a courteous and professional manner.
2. Compile, maintain, and update daily and monthly attendance records of site employees.
3. Manage office inventories to ensure supplies are stocked and orders are placed as needed.
4. Operate office equipment including printers, copiers, and fax machines; troubleshoot issues as they arise.
5. Organize and sort incoming mail and paperwork for distribution or filing.
6. Perform general office tasks, including data entry and document preparation.
7. Assist administrative staff with paperwork processing and filing duties.
8. Check incoming mails and coordinate courier services when necessary.
9. Coordinate and manage training bookings for employees across all levels
10. Perform adhoc duties as assigned by management to support office operations.

Requirements:

• Experience in compiling, maintaining, and updating daily and monthly attendance records is required.
• Candidate must possess at least "O" or "N" level.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Able to work in Tuas South; transport provided from Woodlands & Tuas Crescent.
• Working hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm.
• Singaporean and Singapore Permanent Residents only
