RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for the husbandry and maintenance of the plants and displays in our Flower Dome, specifically the changing displays. You will be expected to plan and manage projects, provide advice and raise horticultural standards. You will be required to manage multiple stakeholders including horticulture vendors, collaboration partners and cultural groups who may be involved in the floral displays. You will also be expected to manage and contribute to programs and activities to provide a more immersive experience for our visitors through our floral displays.

Principle Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading cargoes from and to the container
• General warehousing and housekeeping duties
• Responsible to complete the job process from Inbound to Outbound
• Ensure that the administration work that goes along with the processes are conducted in a proper manner
• Ensure proper records and for the stock/cargo kept in the warehouse
• Working together with Warehouse Coordinator to run the day to day operations
• Ad hoc work as and when may be assigned

Requirements

• A good team player and yet able to work independently.
• Able to work on Saturdays for half day.

A full-time position at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine is open for an Assistant Professor of Microbiome Medicine. Reporting to the Dean and Vice Dean, Research, the appointee is expected to undertake high quality research in Microbiome Medicine, in line with the research strategy of the School. The appointee will obtain research funding and supervise research staff and students. The appointee is also expected to undertake teaching and educational responsibilities for the training of medical students and postgraduate research students.

Person Specification:

• MBBS/MD and/or PhD
• Relevant postdoctoral or clinical experience
• Significant experience and outstanding, record of translational clinical research and teaching with a high level of scientific achievement, productivity and impact in the field of Microbiome Medicine, Microbiology or Microbial bioinformatics
• Experience in working with human microbiome studies would be an advantage
• Ability to supervise research staff and students
• Good communication skills and an appreciation for constructive teamwork
• Willing to participate in postgraduate and undergraduate education and training
• Experience and desire to participate in postgraduate and undergraduate education and training
• Experience of having supervised graduate students to successful completion of PhDs

Job Requirements

3) Must be knowledgeable about durians and fruits from various countries and states

4) Have knowledge about the pricing and quality of durians and fruits

5) Need to train new staff

6) Be able to identify sales trends

7) Able to work on split shift, night shift, weekday evenings, weekends and public holidays during peak seasons.

8) Must be able to work night shift or split shift

9) Must be able to work extra hours or weekend if needed
