Position Summary

The Sales Operations Manager directly reports to the Part Leader of Product Management and, indirectly reports to the Korean expatriate.

The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for optimizing the sales team's performance through strategic planning, performance tracking, and operational efficiency within the Southeast Asia & Oceania region. This role involves managing key sales metrics, overseeing KPI performance, and ensuring effective supply chain management. The Sales Operations Manager works closely with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals and ensures that sales targets are consistently met.

Roles & Responsibilities

· Sales Metrics & KPI Management:

- Monitor and analyze sales performance data

- Track KPIs to assess team effectiveness and identify areas for improvement

- Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for management

· Strategic Planning:

- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business objectives

- Support the sales team in achieving targets through process optimization and goal-setting

· Supply Chain Management:

Skills & Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field

· 5+ years’ experience in international sales & KPI management

· Proven ability to optimize and enhance existing processes based on market feedback

· Agility and resilience to navigate and influence within a Samsung matrix environment at a local, regional, and global level

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish strong relationships with local sales organizations and stakeholders

· Excellent communication skills essential for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and also communications with the Suwon office

· Self-motivation, assertiveness, and comfort in a fast-paced environment

· Strategic planning and report writing skills

· Business-level Korean language proficiency is required to liaise with key stakeholders in the Suwon Office in South Korea. Proficiency in other Asian languages is a plus

About the Position

Your role will include the following accountabilities:

• Coordinate the logistics for tools, spare parts, and workshop services according to the Maintenance Plan. Secure QHSE and compliance for the work and parts.
• Keep important stakeholder informed about the progress of the work. Actively update the Contract Manager when important issues occur.
• Direct customer contact for the logistics of tools, parts.

• Get assistance from Operational Support and Technical Services when needed
• Review and approve cost and provide correct input for invoicing
• Takes proactive actions towards the Wartsila internal parts delivery organization. Be creative in getting the parts delivered on time even if unconventional means must be used.

Job Description

Sales and Marketing:

• Own and hit/exceed sales targets within assigned territories and accounts
• Attend to clients’ concerns and enquiries to acquire new clients, upsell to existing active client, win-back dormant clients and prevent client attrition
• Manage the entire sales operations of the Territory, including but not limited to Direct Sales, Indirect Sales, sales promotions, prospecting, customer service and communications, market Survey and related activities.
• Manage the Indirect Sales – providing the approved price list, attending to all sales and marketing matters/activities, on-the-job training, site visits, logistics and any other incidental matters. Provide on-the-ground support for distribution partners as they generate leads and close new deals.
• Manage Online and Offline Marketing, including product brochure and marketing material creation, seasonal activities, exhibitions, talks and seminars, conducting market surveys and keeping abreast of the latest market developments and new tests
• Measure and track the sales performance of direct sales and the sales of Distributors.
• Prepare reports on regional sales results and distributors' performances and conduct business reviews with distributors to discuss sales performance.

Quality and Compliance

• Ensure that the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Sales and Marketing activities are established, implemented, and constantly updated or enhanced and to ensure that all medical and non-medical staff adhere strictly to the SOPs.
• Integrity of Data – safeguard with proper upkeep, maintenance, and filing of all records including patients’ information and data.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Marketing, Business Studies or related Science discipline preferred
