Job Description:

• The incumbent shall thrive as part of the performing sales team and will be responsible to attain the set team/individual sales budget, with revenue from product based, leasing and/or solutions-based sales.
• Possess strong sales management skills including but not limited to, tracking and attainment of sales revenue / margin based on forecast, negotiation skills to address all parties’ needs to obtain win-win status, account servicing skills with return customers / account receivable mindset.
• Build and maintain new / existing customers bases through strong market knowledge, strong partnership and engagement.
• Liaise closely with Service Operations teams to ensure reliability, availability and serviceability.
• Maintain team-based spirit with continuous market data and customer information exchange among the team to bring strong value to the Organization and Sales Dept.

Experience, Skill and Competency required:

• 1-3 years of pre-sales, technical sales or sales of construction equipment (such as Forklift, Excavator, Drilling Rig, Crawler Cranes) in construction / engineering industry. Interested applicants who do not possess construction equipment sales background but have ability to demonstrate the competency to be successful on this role, are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with Diploma in Engineering related background will have an advantage.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• The key strategist that drives the company’s sales performance.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plan(s) that expands company’s customer base and brand market presence.
• Ensure smooth running of daily sales operations and optimal manpower utilisation through strategic planning, organising, leading, and management of available resources.
• Build progressive and mutually benefiting relationships with clients.
• Lead strategy review sessions with sales team to assess efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain a good understanding of industry dynamics, trends and competitive insights.
• Monitors the team’s activity logs through the CRM system to ensure that all project progress and client records are up-to-date.
• Collaborate with Marketing Team to successfully drive marketing campaigns and promote the brand through relevant programmes and activities to build a strong brand image for the company.
• Present monthly sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
