Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities in the smart home sector.
- Analyze consumer needs and preferences to inform product development and marketing strategies.
2. Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a business development strategy aligned with the company’s goals and vision in B2C and B2B.
- Identify target markets and customer segments for smart home products and services.
3. Partnership Development:
- Identify and establish partnerships with potential distributors / pertners in SEA.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements that benefit the company and strengthen market presence.
4. Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Drive sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
5. Performance Tracking:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business development activities.
- Prepare regular reports on progress, challenges, and achievements to present to senior management.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the lighting and/or smart home industry. With presence in Interior designer/contractor sector, related building & construction sector will be an added advantage.
- Skills: Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with smart home technologies and trends, as well as an understanding of the competitive landscape.
This role is pivotal in navigating the rapidly evolving smart home market and ensuring the company remains competitive and innovative. Selected candidates for interview will be required to give their insights of smart home industry and strategies to reach out to potential customer.
