About Our Client
My client is a leading manufacturer of high-precision screw machine pin and socket contacts, as well as inner bodies, with multiple certified production facilities in Switzerland and the USA. Serving the civil aviation and military/aerospace industries, they provide customised solutions from prototyping to mass production, supported by strict quality controls and technical expertise.
Job Description
- Customer Acquisition and Account Management - Qualify leads from existing established contacts across various focus regions to gain market share, while identifying and developing new opportunities to drive business growth and revenue.
- Technical Sales Support and Coordination - Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams, managing technical requirements, providing solutions, and facilitating product qualifications and testing.
- Market and Competitor Analysis - Analyse customer demand, market trends, and competitor activities to support accurate forecasting, budget planning, and strategic decision-making.
- Sales Execution and Reporting - Oversee quotes, order follow-ups, and backlog management, while conducting regular customer visits and preparing detailed sales reports to track progress and performance.
The Successful Applicant
- About 10 years of B2B Sales/Business Development experience in the Electrical Connectors industry - with a proven track record in new customer acquisition across Asia
- Strong industrial knowledge of sectors such as civil aviation, aerospace and defense, telecommunications, medical equipment, test & measurement and/or relevant markets with similar purpose
- Comfortable with 40% regional travel to countries across SEA, India, and China
- Comfortable with a strong hunting position, upholding 0-1 new business development responsibilities
