Roles & Responsibilities
• Lead regional capability on Owned Media specifically websites, D2C ecommerce sites and future app development
• Work closely with key stakeholders including regional and country brand teams, IT, Legal and Finance Teams, Global DTO and Brand team, and other agency and delivery teams. Resource will also need to partner closely with CRM team on any CRM and Loyalty integration as well as eCommerce team on D2C target setting and strategy.
• Ramp up Shiseido’s capability on SEM and SEO as well as UX/UI Optimization. Overall in-charge of measurement and optimization of owned media assets across multiple brands – Shiseido, Cle de Peau Beaute, NARS, Drunk Elephant, Elixir, etc.

• Oversee site-rollouts, access controls, key updates and further deployments as supported by Project Manager and external parties

• Vendor Management – manage external partners on ongoing website operations and performance, keeping track of SLAs, billing and finance.
• Develop relationships with external ecosystem of tech partners that can further enhance overall site performance.
• Craft the overall roadmap for our owned media strategy including newer technology – including apps, metaverse, mini-programs/apps. Lead integration on Social commerce (ie. Link to Whatsapp, etc.)

• Advise markets on D2C Operations and website performance. Regional subject matter expert of Salesforce Commerce Cloud, GA4, and GTM.

• Key Markets to cover are: ASEAN, Taiwan, Korea, ANZ and India
• Contribute to other corporate-level strategic projects as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or multimedia design

• Minimum 7 to 10+ years’ experience in website and app development, SEM/SEO and UX/UI Optimization
• Demonstrate a keen understanding of ASEAN, Taiwan, Korea, ANZ and India digital ecosystem
• Experience in Performance Marketing a must, ideally from a D2C operation

• Outstanding communication ability and presentation skills in English a must and Mandarin, Thai, Vietnamese or Korean is a plus

Role Summary/Purpose:

The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining existing client relationships and generating new business sales for the countries stated above. This role is responsible for account management of existing clients in these countries as well as new business sales to help increase the footprint with the products and services SmartStream is offering to firms within the territory.

The role will be based in Singaporeand will report into the regional sales head also based in Singapore.

The goals are to achieve the sales targets set out for the calendar year by performing the key responsibilities as outlined below:

Responsibilities:

· Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing appropriate sales opportunities – mapping appropriate solutions & services to the appropriate client/prospect profiles.

· Sells solutions & services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.

· Maintains relationships with clients by providing information, and guidance; researching and recommending appropriate solutions; recommending profit and service improvements.

· Identifies product improvements or new products to Product Management by remaining current on client expectations/needs, industry trends, market activities, and competitors.

· Conduct cold calls to prospective clients to generate pipeline and supporting marketing activity.

Key Skills:

• 5+ years’ experience in selling to Financial Services Institutions (with experience in C-level or senior management engagement/contacts).

• Experience in selling solutions & services to the Financial Services sector in the territories specified above – payments, treasury, finance, risk control, regulatory compliance functions, post trade back-office and middle office operations.

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets, including quarterly and yearly achievements.

• Proven track record of selling to new name clients/prospects.

• Ability to learn and grasp complex fintech solutions and understand customer requirements.

• Spoken and written English is mandatory. Additionally, knowledge of Mandarin, and/or another SEA language would be an advantage.

• Preferably with a Singapore permanent residency or citizenship status due to local regulatory requirements. Employment Pass candidates may be considered depending on a high overall candidate profile rating.
