Reporting directly to the Business Project Lead, this position focuses on leveraging the BCG Growth-Share Matrix to identify potential growth opportunities within our core categories. The intern will also collaborate with Key Account Management and Technical Marketing teams to develop value-added solutions for both current and prospective customers.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed market analysis e.g. using the BCG Growth-Share Matrix to identify and evaluate growth opportunities within the Transportation, Industrial, Consumer & Lifestyle, and Medical & Healthcare sectors.

Assist & Support in:

• Collaboration with Business Development, Key Account Management to understand customer needs and support the development of tailored marketing strategies.
• Work with Technical Marketing and Process Experts to formulate value-added solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and business growth.
• In the creation of strategic presentations and reports for internal stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics.
• Engage in project meetings and provide analytical support to the Business Project Lead and other team members.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with previous experience in using frameworks such as the BCG Matrix.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning, development and execution of marketing communication strategies and campaigns.
• Develop, refine and maintain product positioning, messaging and key value propositions.
• Create and manage marketing collateral such as product brochures, sales decks, presentation slides, demonstration kits, factsheets and white papers.
• Coordinate and organise internal and external marketing events, webinars and trade shows, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Mass Communications or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in marketing communications, product marketing, event management, and related fields is required for this position.
• Strong understanding of corporate and product marketing strategies and how to create content that drives engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to create compelling graphics, promotional materials, and videos that support marketing objectives.
• Knowledge of digital marketing platforms, social media strategies, and email marketing tools.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing tools (e.g. Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc.) is a definite advantage.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The digital marketing performance manager holds the accountability of the overall account performance and budget utilization for a portfolio of clients and ensures that the team works cohesively in developing, maintaining and optimizing performance marketing channels. Additionally, the mid-tier position is responsible in producing reports and insights along with recommending growth strategies and tactics for internal and external stakeholders.
