• Position: Sales Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical Engineering)
• Location: Ubi
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday (9am - 6pm)
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $5,000 Basic Salary + ATTRACTIVE Commission/Incentives + FIXED Transport Allowance + Performance Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage existing customers and develop new customers and foster good customer relationship for revenue growth and customer retention
• Provide pre-sales assistance and after-sales support to customers
• Prepare quotations and follow up on sales enquiries/proposal from customers
• Prepare sales visits, maintain customers contact database and update project status/activity reports on weekly basis
• Support marketing activities in seminars, trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events
• Deliver presentations and hands-on demonstrations of products, applications, and technology for the purpose of product sales
• Able to analyse competition market/data
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only
• At least Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in industrial electrical/mechanical component sales
• Prior experience with automation & motion control is required
• Proficient with Windows based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Full product training is provided

Sales and Consultation:

• Engage with prospective learners via various communication channels (phone, email, video calls, etc.) to understand their training requirements, career goals, and learning objectives.
• Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate training courses from our portfolio that align with their goals and objectives.
• Provide detailed information about the potential fundings involved, features, benefits, and outcomes of each course, addressing any questions or concerns raised by potential customers.
• Offer personalized guidance and advice to customers, helping them make informed decisions based on their unique circumstances.
• Follow up with leads and maintain regular communication throughout the sales process to build rapport and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by effectively promoting and selling training courses.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree holder
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences and tailor messages to individual needs.
• Excellent persuasive and negotiation abilities, with a focus on providing value and building long-term customer relationships.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to achieving targets and meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of training courses, professional development, or adult education and the relevant fundings is a plus.
