Role

The role will be focused on leading the successful roll-out of Transfer solutions business (Cross Border Services and Mastercard Send) within AP, to include:
• Lead go-to-market plan development & business development for Mastercard Cross Border Services for Fintech Segment in AP (hunting & farming)
• Develop country wise commercialization strategy for fintech segment including market sizing and Deep analysis of use cases to identify pain points and opportunity size
• Stitch together a Product suite that can solve key pain points of fintechs in their cross-border flows in collaboration with global teams
• Achieve aggressive revenue growth for Mastercard Transfer Solutions services in fintech segment
• Prospect and contract AP fintechs through coordination with product development, internal support teams such as customer delivery, operations and technology, legal, finance and market/geography teams
• Lead Bank partner network expansion for X-border services in AP to achieve revenue acceleration
• Coordinate with Product, in-market teams, Franchise, marketing, data services and Finance to build the Cross-border services vertical in AP
• Industry partnerships and other strategic alliances in support of the strategy.
• Play a key role to facilitate financial modeling / business case development for new business opportunities: execute commercial deals from initial engagements, client negotiations, contract agreement process to implementation
• Account level P&L ownership, including pricing, yield-optimization, corridor optimization & best practices deployment
• Articulate ideal end state, the areas that require product development and the long-term revenue potential
• Monitor and report competition, market evolution and trends, analyze findings from ongoing and previous research efforts and recommend actions.

All About You

• This position requires a highly collaborative individual who will need to manage relationships across multiple functional areas, regional executives and leadership as well as key customers and strategic partners across AP.
• 10+ year working experience with in-depth knowledge and experience in cross border flows
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility; team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible
• Cross-functional team leadership experience managing multiple, complex projects concurrently and delivering timely results under tight timelines
• Fintech experience in AP region preferred but not mandatory
• Excellent problem-solving skills with demonstrated track record in introducing new/emerging products and services
• Experience executing and managing business development strategies in complex environments
• Strategy and product management experience preferred but not mandatory
• Track record in building efficient sales team, achieving business development targets and building strong customer relationships
• Leadership and people management preferred but not mandatory
• Excellent problem-solving skills with demonstrated track record in introducing new/emerging products and services
• Top tier MBA preferred but not mandatory
• Prior experience in sales and product commercialization is preferred

Job description

This is a full-time on-site role in Singapore. As a Sales & Application Engineer, the candidate is expected to manage sales activities in Singapore market which includes sales initiation, development and closing for the assigned customer base. In addition, also expected to manage the Quotation activities in co-ordination with the support team in Switzerland.

Tasks involved:

• Develop sales opportunities through early engagement.
• Promote Wey products to suitable applications to the assigned customer base.
• Generate and manage sales leads.
• Prepare Quotes, submit and follow up till closure.
• Work with relevant internal and external stake holders to develop customer quotes.
• Work closely with End users and Contractors to win new opportunities, MRO and competitor replacements.
• Identify and engage in key customer projects.
• Product Presentation & Demo to customers
• Manage customer and opportunity data in CRM tool.
• Manage activities with customers and other stake holders with CRM system.

Minimum requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering with 4-5 years of relevant experience dealing direct with customers.

Desirable skills:
