JOB DESCRIPTION:

Marketing and sales of Sipchem products.

• Reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.

• Co-ordinates and customises sales activities that cater to regional needs.

• Manage the sales and marketing of the assigned products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Staying abreast of changes in the regional trading environment, proposing strategic marketing plans to best serve the sales objectives of Sipchem Marketing Company (the “SMC”).

• Identify potential partners and opportunities to cooperate and improve the current operations.

• Acquire product knowledge in terms of (specs/packing/shipments/selling terms and conditions/competition/customers).

• Prepare the sales and lifting plan based on the allocation for management review and confirmation.

• Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalising on SMC’s relative positioning.

• Keep current on competitors’ activities and distribute pertinent information to SMC’s Sales and Marketing teams.

• Meets marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, initiating corrective actions, and minimising costs.

• Prepare weekly and monthly reports, submitting the findings and analysis to senior management.

• Serve as point of contact with distributors and end-users in the Asia Pacific region.

• Tasked with the delivery of marketing solutions and coordinator of sales activities while applying company’s internal processes in an efficient and consistent manner.

• Supporting and assisting the logistics and finance teams where appropriate.

• Following and tracking the day-to-day operations of the regional sales team.

• Prepare a monthly performance report of the company showing a variance analysis between target and actual realisation.

• Managing the existing channel relations with the clients and partners

SALES

• Develop business by sourcing for new customers.
• Attend to emails and phone calls regarding sales.
• Prepare quotations and follow up with all prospective sales.
• Manage project from start to handover.
• Coordinates between clients and operations to carry out the necessary work schedule.
• Perform on-site visits and meetings, if required
• Contribute to collaborative efforts and organize promotional events.

MARKETING

• Digital marketing, including website, social media, content marketing, and digital advertising.
• Optimise all assigned campaigns in the form of Google Search/Display Ads, Facebook, Offline, and EDM campaigns

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Business or equivalent.
• At least 2 years experience in marketing or sales.
• Excellent Facilitation and Presentation Skills.
• Ability to translate knowledge into skills.
• Ability to drive the application of skills in a Business Environment.

Content Management and Governance

• Develop and implement creative content strategy with a focus on customer-centricity. Previous experience managing omni-channel marketing campaigns and content management systems will be advantageous.
• Stay abreast of best practices on website management and provide leadership to direct reports and peers to ensure compliance to content creation, audit workflows, editorial guidelines and search engine optimisation (SEO).
• Lead the development and management of HPB’s corporate website, HPB’s content management system and related API to support its content distribution strategy. 
• Work directly with IT and non-IT stakeholders to maintain and update website content, monitor and optimise website performance; and manage the site’s functionality and appearance.

Social Media Management and Governance

• Provide thought leadership and oversee HPB’s social media strategy and guide its designated social media agency in areas of content planning, content production, community management, metrics reporting, and channel optimization.

• Develop and implement a clear brand identity for HPB and uphold its online brand presence and reputation on all social media channels.
• Guide and influence marketing peers in the development of effective, engaging and compelling communications for social media channels.
• Mentor and guide team members and colleagues to ensure compliance to prevailing community management policy and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with a proven track record. Significant functional experience working with the latest web and mobile development technology, content management, digital marketing, marketing analytics and delivering customer-centric & personalised experience via digital touchpoints.
• Proven familiarity with Sitecore CMS would be highly advantageous.

• High energy, resourceful and tech-savvy.  A creative and critical thinker who exhibits intellectual curiosity about marketing technology and innovation.
• Collaborative attitude with strong inter-personal skills to build relationships with cross-divisional teams, present to senior stakeholders and interact confidently across the organisation, as well as with external stakeholders and vendor partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the sales cycle, starting with cold calling and/or inquiries and continuing with presentations, quotes, closing, and post-sale customer support.
• Follow up on sales prospects and successfully complete transactions.
• Possess the ability to confidently offer suggestions and precisely compile data, facts, and information.
• Ensuring the terms of contracts and pricing you negotiate with clients are in line with the goals and profitability of the business.
• Promoting and demonstrating ICT products.

Requirements

• Preferably 2 years and above of sales experience
• Possess basic knowledge of IT are an advantage.
• At least a diploma holder and above.
• Basic Office Functions – Microsoft Office, E-Mail, Phones, Computers, and Interaction with Vendors
