Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of Technical Superintendents to oversee all aspects of the technical management of the vessels including but not limited to safe operations, safety, compliance, crew management, maintenance, and cost control.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and adoption of industry best practices.
• Oversee and manage the overall budget for the procurement of services, ship spares and stores for the company’s fleet of vessels while ensuring the operational reliability of the vessels are kept to a high standard.
• Set up, review and monitor KPIs for the Technical team and the overall vessels’ performance of the company fleet of vessels and the company’s fleet under 3rd party ship management.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with crew members, shore staff, and both internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Manage risk associated with vessel operations and maintenance. Monitor vessel performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Provide strong leadership and guidance to the technical management team

We have projects in Netherlands, Singapore, Thailand and Southeast Asia regions, production is in China as a manufacturing plant. Responsibilities

• Set project timeline and keep projects on track.
• Monitor project deliverables and update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress.
• Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them.
• Schedule tasks and co-ordinate with various team members to accomplish project objectives.
• Manage project budget and resource allocation.
• Interact regularly with existing and potential clients to determine needs and develop plans for improving delivery.
• Work cross functionally to solve problems and implement changes where needed.
• Resolve and assist in the resolution of conflicts among different stakeholders.
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering Disciplines with adequate exposure background in site electrical work.
• Demonstrated some knowledge of Electrical System Interconnection and Technical References.
• Proven track record in project management, including experience in budget control, project scheduling, operation of a fabrication workshop, and conducting feasibility studies for project proposals.
• PMP certification is preferred but not a must; in lieu, a critical pathway-centric approach to project management will take precedence.
• Experience leading and managing teams effectively and robustly.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
• Good engineering background, with a focus on automotive and/or power engineering being a distinct advantage.
• Ability to converse both in English & Mandarin for liaison with Durapower's chinese subsidiary in Suzhou.
