You will start your journey with us by providing administrative support and research to a small team of Traders based in the Singapore Office. Reporting to the Trading Manager, you will seek to understudy them and understand the 5W1H of their plans and actions.
Over time, you will acquire advanced knowledge and techniques for wholesale trading of chemical fertilisers. You will progress on to a client-facing role and manage your very own trade portfolio.
Responsibilities and Duties
â–ª Prepare sales and purchase contract documents.
â–ª Work closely with the Operations Team on shipment matters.
â–ª Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of trade transactions.
â–ª Record, pack, and store inventory samples.
â–ª Conduct market/industry research and analysis and propose trade ideas.
â–ª Participate in client entertainment and relationship building.
â–ª Assist the Team Lead to coordinate admin matters, such as leave, overseas work trips, and meetings.
â–ª Familiarise yourself with Incoterms and trade finance.
