Job Purpose:

The Marketing & Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by promoting and selling SCC’s services and event venues, including the Banquet Hall, Pavilion and Northern Lights. The role involves developing marketing strategies, creating new and innovative products, identifying new business opportunities, setting and achieving sales targets and managing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development:

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to increase event bookings for SCC’s venues.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize the use of the Banquet Hall, BBQ @ Pavilion, Northern Lights and facilities for corporate functions, private events, and other occasions.

• Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective sales and marketing strategies and ensure sales and marketing alignment to drive revenue growth
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, clients interactions, and market feedback
• Stay informed on industry trends and collaborate with internal teams.
• Review sales performance and identify business opportunities
• Execute and evaluate pre-sales and post-sales promotion strategies
• Develop and build up effective relationship with key clients
• Work and liaise closely with assigned retailers for sales/promotion activities/pricing and inventory

Qualifications:

• Class 3/3A Driving license required
• Minimum GCE 'O' level certificate
• 1+ years in sales or key account management (B2B preferred)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to effectively serve our Mandarin-speaking customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

A Sales Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting the success of an organization. The sales supervisor must work closely with the store manager, general manager, and production manager to communicate changing customer needs. As a liaison between the organization and the customers, the production supervisor must anticipate changing customer needs and design products that meet such needs.
