Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree with >7+ years of recruiting operations or recruiting enablement experience.
• Previous success in delivering operational improvements from ideation to implementation and iteration across multiple global working groups.
• Understanding of the talent acquisition lifecycle, key metrics, and industry trends.
• Proficiency in data analytics and the ability to derive meaningful insights from recruitment data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships.
• Experience working in a high-growth and fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with global talent acquisition practices and an understanding of Singapore regional nuances in recruitment processes.

Your day to day

Lead and manage the overall function of Sales (Corporate Sales and M&E Sales) to maximise performance through total revenue generation and achieve budget revenue.

Financial Returns

• Direct Sales team to manage account base to maximise performance across all revenue streams (Rooms, Meetings & Events and Food & Beverage)
• Development of sales strategies and action plans to ensure plans are implemented, results are monitored and goals are achieved – launch tactical promotions if required
• Develop solid understanding of numbers to evaluate revenue performance, understand profit contribution to GOP and monitor sales department’s impact on hotel profitability
• Constantly evaluate business potential and opportunities in new geographical markets and across new market segments
• Participate in the preparation of long-range planning and the annual departmental operating budget, the hotel marketing plan and business plan as well as financial plans.
• Monitors competitors’ activities and assists in marketing intelligence
• Builds profile within local market place through attendance at various events and local market place

• Foster a positive and productive work environment, builds, motivates, and leads an effective team that delivers results and is highly engaged
• Coaching and mentoring of the Sales team through the development of personal development plans to either improve in their current role or set them up for next role

• Travel when required to promote the hotel and develop potential business in other markets

What we need from you

• Diploma/Degree in Business or Hospitality management or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years sales experience, preferably in luxury hotel or 5-star hospitality
• Strong presentation, commercial and communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to develop and foster beneficial relationships
• High level of passion, enthusiasm and drive for results
• High level of common sense and high skill of problem solving and decision making
• In-depth knowledge of sales principles and techniques
• Strategic and tactical thinker - ability to develop strategic sales plans, establish goals and objectives, set performance targets and deliver projects on time

About The Job

Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with the institutional clients throughout the APAC region.

Key responsibilities include:

• Responsible for execution of sales strategy, business development and marketing of the company’s e-FX Solutions to the targeted clients.
• Drive the process from originating new client opportunities and ensuring smooth rollout to successful commercialization.
• Build effective relationships with the clients to develop revenue opportunities and to deliver a high quality of service
• Source and establish contact with prospects through referrals from existing clients, your internal relationships with other channels
• Work and coordinate with various departments such as IT, Dealing and Operation to service clients’ needs.
• Work with Risk Management team to manage clients’ margin requirements and maintenance, while observing risk exposure with close monitoring
• Participate in the company’s marketing activities and work on a team level to identify new opportunities
• Provide feedback on customer demand and make recommendations to drive product innovation

Requirements:

• Degree holder in relevant majors
• Must possess locally required licenses.
• Min 5-7 years sales trading / dealing experience with institutional clients or institutional sales experience preferred
• Preferably with a good track record in sales and customer acquisition experience
• A highly motivated self-starter with strong analytical skills, excellent business acumen and the ability to deliver targets
• Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization
• Ability to focus and prioritize the key initiatives across a broad range of opportunities and relationships
