KEY Responsibilities:

1. Research & Innovation:

• Lead research initiatives focused on underwater robotics, including navigation, machine learning algorithms, and sensor integration.
• Drive innovation to enhance the performance, autonomy, and efficiency of Roverclean and future robotic products.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in underwater robotics.

2. Product Development:

• Oversee the development and improvement of Alicia Bots’ underwater robotic systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, mechanical, and electrical engineers, to ensure seamless integration of robotics solutions.
• Evaluate technical feasibility and scalability of proposed robotic solutions.

3. Team Leadership:

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of robotics engineers and researchers.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Provide technical guidance and ensure team alignment with company goals.

4. Strategic Planning:

• Develop and execute a long-term R&D strategy for underwater robotics in alignment with company objectives.
• Define research priorities, set milestones, and monitor project timelines and deliverables.

• Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and technology partners.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, workshops, and technical forums.

6. Technical Documentation:

• Ensure accurate and thorough technical documentation for all research projects and product developments.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on underwater systems or marine technology.

Experience:

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in underwater robotics research or robotics product development.
• Proven track record of leading R&D teams and delivering successful robotic systems or projects.
• Experience with underwater navigation systems, sonar technologies, and AI/ML integration in robotic systems.
• Previous experience in the maritime, offshore, or defense industries is preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in robotics control systems, underwater communication systems, and sensor technologies.
• Strong programming skills in languages like C++, Python, or ROS (Robot Operating System).

We are looking for a talented and ambitious candidate to join our team in developing next-generation quantum sensors. The position will focus on modeling the dynamics and fabricating cryogenic components for the superconducting levitation of ferromagnetic particles.

This levitated, freely precessing particle forms a system of correlated spins, capable of rapidly averaging out quantum uncertainty. By harnessing this system, we aim to develop quantum sensors with sensitivities that exceed the standard quantum limit.

This position is based in the Quantum Innovation Centre (Q.Inc) and Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE). The successful candidate will contribute to a range of innovative activities, including:

Key Responsibilities:

• Modeling the dynamics of the levitated particle
• Microfabrication of the particle, silicon pocket, and superconducting materials
• Learning to operate a dilution refrigerator

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master’s in physics, Applied Physics, Precise Instrumentation, or related fields
• Past experience in the job activities listed above is preferred, but a strong willingness to learn is sufficient. Trainings will be provided.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the execution phase of grant and industry projects, including monitoring project milestones, risks, costs, and schedules.
• Collaborate with various functions within the organization to resolve roadblocks and ensure the programme and projects deliver key outcomes within the allocated time and budget.
• Update and maintain the internal research project database, and external engagement tracking.
• Support the Quantum Programme Office (QPO) in managing and ensuring proper and updated records of project variations, grant proposals, publications, patents, and technology disclosures.
• Administer overseas travel arrangements, including checking travel plans, budgets, and ensuring proper documentation and approval in compliance with existing policies.
• Assist the team in organizing technology road-mapping and scientific workshops/symposiums.
• Assist the QPO team in day-to-day operations and administrative duties.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools such as MS Excel, MS Project, and PowerBI preferred.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work with Professor Barbaros Oezyilmaz at the Graphene Lab, National University of Singapore.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

1. Project and Grant Management: Support the Principal Investigator (PI) in tracking budget utilization, manpower allocation, and procurement to ensure projects are on track. Oversee research and industry projects, including planning, compliance, and reporting. Assist with grant proposal preparation, submission, and tracking.

2. Business Development: Develop and evaluate business proposals, negotiate industry collaboration agreements, and actively foster partnerships to drive research applications and commercialization.

3. Industry and Academic Engagement: Serve as a coordinator for industry and academic discussions, facilitate collaborative meetings, and take an active role in engaging with industry stakeholders to build and sustain strategic partnerships.

4. IP Portfolio Management: Manage the lab's intellectual property portfolio, track inventions, support patent applications, and liaise with the university’s technology transfer office.

Qualifications/Experience

• Qualifications / Discipline: A Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as:

- Engineering (e.g., Materials Science, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering)

- Science (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, or a related discipline)

- Business Administration or Management (especially if emphasizing industry collaboration and business development)

• Experience:

1. At least 2–3 years of experience in research project management, business development, or related roles.

2. Familiarity with managing grants, budgets, and compliance with funding regulations.
