Job Summary:

As an R&D cum Product Management Engineer, your role is to drive the research and development efforts of new products and technologies while also managing the product lifecycle and ensuring its successful market introduction. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative products that align with customer needs and business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Research and Development:

· Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new product concepts and ideas.

· Design and develop prototypes, conduct testing, and evaluate feasibility to validate product concepts and technical viability.

2. Product Management:

· Work closely with operations teams to ensure successful product commercialization and production.

3. Cross-functional Collaboration:

· Collaborate with internal and external teams to drive product development and launch activities.

· Coordinate with internal teams to ensure product meets technical specifications and customer requirements.

· Engage with operations team to ensure smooth transition from R&D to production and resolve any production-related issues.

· Collaborate with sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and sales support materials.

· Work closely with sales teams to provide product training, technical support, and assist in addressing customer inquiries and concerns.

4. Project Management:

· Manage the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to commercialization, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

· Create project plans, set milestones, and allocate resources effectively.

· Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

· Communicate project updates and status to management.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

· Maintain accurate documentation of product development processes, technical specifications, and project milestones.

· Prepare and present reports, including product performance metrics, market analysis, and competitive assessments.

Job Requirement:

1. Education and Experience:

Bachelor degree or above

At least 3 years working experience in R&D and product management position

[What you will be working on]

Responsibilities:-

• Conduct lessons, develop teaching and assessment materials, and facilitate learning for both Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education and Training (CET) students

• Develop new and maintain existing teaching curriculum. This includes continual review of existing curriculum to make recommendations on areas of improvements that would enhance students’ performance, learning and employability

• Keep abreast of current developments and trends in the food industry so that curriculum is up to date

• Enhance students’ learning through in-class and out of classroom learning such as training students for competitions, guiding them on career choices, supervising projects and internships, and leading projects for overseas learning and community service

• Support the School’s strategic initiatives through involvement in committee work and consultancy projects with industry partners
