Design Guidance Projects

• Support and/or co-lead projects contributing industrial design, design engineering, systems design or product-service-systems development skillset.
• Mentoring and co-creating in innovation projects with public and private external partners and teams.

The Design Innovation team is a group of world-leading interdisciplinary designers, technical professionals, and researchers leading the world of design. The Design Innovation team functions to develop fundamental and ground-breaking results in design science as well as to fulfil the mission of a better world by design through a porous interface with industry, government, and social projects. This interface allows for a seamless integration of empirically grounded design methodologies that directly lead to outcomes with positive impacts at the social, media, and technological levels. Basic Functions:

Leads a project for assay design and developments, co-ordinate stability studies and marketing supports (trouble shooting assays).

Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for MRI trained Radiographers in the Centre for Translational MR Research, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Five days work week, non-shift.

Purpose of the post

The successful candidate will perform independent MRI examinations on a wide range of body parts and to be familiar with different MR imaging techniques for research - primarily neuro related but also some body, musculoskeletal, cardiac and MR spectroscopy. 2. Carry out periodic checks inside Data Centre, looking out for any:

a. Unreported IT Infra hardware fault

b. Environment issue to be addressed (e.g.: Faulty lighting, item obstructing airflow)

d. Non-compliance

e. Collect power utilization statistic (if required)

3. Manage, procure and support provision of Data Centre equipment/systems, peripherals, spares, user documentations and technical manuals.

Purpose

The candidate will participate in clinical research projects in SERI related to Glaucoma, including examination of study participants, collection andorganization of clinical and imaging data in order to characterize the underlying disease mechanisms of the disease and to determine the factors associated with disease progression. We are looking for talented wet-lab Research Fellow to work with a multidisciplinary group of scientists on the discovery of new targets for therapy in Diabetic Nephropathy (DN), a devastating complication of diabetes causing significant morbidity, mortality and human suffering. Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) is a severe metabolic liver disease that can affect up to 6.5% of the adult population, with only one FDA-approved drug. Dr. Jin Zhou’s team is specialised in studying the novel molecular pathogenesis underlying MASH for the identification of new druggable targets. The lab uses a combination of biochemistry, genetics, animal modeling, and metabolomics approaches to understand cellular processes related to mitochondrial function and hepatic lipid metabolism.
