Founded in 2012, ONEPIP is a foreign exchange and payments financial technology company with subsidiaries in Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia. Licensed as a Major Payment Institution by the Money Authority of Singapore (MAS), it operates the ONEPIP Exchange and BidAsk platforms for various client segments based in the Asia-Pacific region.
As the Project Manager, Technology Services at ONEPIP, you will be managing the performance of IT projects and ensuring that the service levels are achieved, defining appropriate project management deliverables for all projects working while in tandem with the business core team.
Responsibilities:
· Reporting to the CEO, the incumbent will identify opportunities and risks for delivering the company’s services as a financial solutions company offering unique and leading edge platform services in the FX market, including identification of competitive services, opportunities for innovation, and assessment of marketplace obstacles and technical hurdles to the business success.
· Identify technology trends and evolving social behaviour that may support or impede the success of the business.
· Responsible for the day to day management of the service delivery function which includes the business-related IT functions.
· Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms (including web application frameworks and the deployment stack) for delivering the company’s services.
· Lead strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives and setting timetables for the evaluation, development, and deployment of all projects and system integration work.
· As a member of the senior management team, establish and oversee governance processes to ensure the organization's objectives are met, risks are managed, and resources are used responsibly—particularly in the areas of software development, office networks, telecommunications, and customer support. Implement a customer service and support process with a focus on web-based services, integrating it with the software engineering process to efficiently resolve customer issues, enhance application usability, and continuously improve overall service delivery.
· Collaborate with the appropriate departments to assess and recommend technologies that support company organizational needs.
· Select and manage company staff or outsourced vendors who will form the resources for technical projects implementation.
· Demonstrated ability to envision solutions that meet consumer needs or solve business problems.
Requirements:
· University degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology, or another rigorous discipline. An advanced degree in one these fields is a plus.
· 10 years’ experience in application project development and management.
· Skill with CSS, XHTML, one or more Javascript frameworks, and AJAX.
· Knowledge of web standards.
· Possess profound knowledge of Visual Studio .NET, ASP.NET, and MS SQL Server
· Experience with UNIX system administration and web server configuration.
· Knowledge of Internet protocols and RFC standards, database management systems, and revision control systems.
· Familiarity with banking and financial sectors. Knowledge in FX market is a plus
· Familiarity with information security vulnerabilities and risk management.
· Exposure to business theory, business process development, governance processes, management, budgeting, and administrative operations.
· Strong analytical, problem solving and documentation skills.
