The lab focuses on basic, clinical and transformative research to add healthy year of life by developing interventions to delay ageing and chronic disease onset, increase healthspan and improve life quality.

Purpose of the post

The Senior Research Fellow (SRF) will be responsible to and work closely with Professor Brian Kennedy to provide support in research projects to advance the understanding of aging biology and age-related diseases, with a specific focus on identifying novel anti-aging compounds (drugs, natural products, metabolites, etc.) that can delay cellular aging and extend healthspan. This includes assessing the effectiveness of these potential compounds in various age-related disease models, including neurodegenerative disorders, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, cancer, sarcopenia, age-related macular degeneration, and skin ailments.
