• Support the CRO / Head of Operational Risk to develop, implement and maintain the framework (policies and procedures, templates) for Operational Risk Management (ORM) with underlying sub-risk types and monitor the adequacy of the framework. Examples of ORM sub-risk types include business resiliency, technology, third-party and outsourcing environmental, and new product.
• Act as subject matter expert and advice on the implementation of the ORM framework including risk assessments, due diligence assessments and policy dispensations.
• Initiate and oversee risk and control activities such as business process mapping, risk and control self-assessment ("RSA") and Business Continuity Management ("BCM")
• Conduct risk assessments of technologies or processes where required, e.g. Business Impact Analysis ("BIA"), third-party and outsourcing due diligence, new product etc.

• Monitor new regulatory requirements and conduct gap analysis against new regulations/ guidelines and the ORM framework to ensure compliance.
• Assign and communicate the responsibilities and authorities of relevant roles.
• Develop and provide training for employees to promote ris awareness and ensure relevant employees are trained on OR policies and sub-risk types.
• Define and propose risk management metrics (e.g. key risk indicator/ key control indicator) to monitor the risk and control environment; and periodically report to the risk
• support senior management in risk oversight and governance.
• Monitor that employees/ personnel and service providers implement controls that achieve the ORM's objectives and is sustainable, including the appropriateness and efficient processes for identifying, managing, and controlling ORM risks.
• Monitor and provide oversight on issues and remediations.
• Identify and report high risk, emerging risk trends and key issues to risk committees.
• Design, implement and maintain risk management tools.
• Support internal and external audit/ assessment engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related domains.
• 7-10 years of experience in Ops Risk Management or audit and compliance in operational areas preferably within the financial industry.
• Familiar with operational risk regulatory and legislative requirements (e.g., Guidelines on Risk Management Practices, Business Continuity Management Guidelines and Outsourcing, Banking Secrecy Act, Personal Data Protection Act) and industry standards (e.g., ITIL, SANS, NIST, ISO 27001/2)

• Responsible for leading the team to build a functional and appealing web- and mobile-based enterprise applications optimised in terms of loading performance, mobile responsiveness and enhanced user experience.
• Brainstorm with the team to recommend the best frontend architecture, methodology, languages used, design robust, coding structure, deployment protocols and debugging for new software products.
• Participate in the project discussion of technical implementation, implementation of unit test, codes review and frontend architecture optimization.
• Collaborate with Product, Creative and Backend Engineering Team to develop and implement frontend architecture and interactive site features to support user interface concepts.
• Develop, test, deploy and enhance reactive/responsive web applications running on modern browsers and operating systems.
• Ensure the all software products under supervision are adhering to the highest engineering standards which includes code maintainability, quality, monitoring, operational excellence, and documentation.
• Conduct code reviews and ensuring merged code adheres to best practices and standards.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members under care to groom them in term of technical skillsets.
• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends, languages and techniques.
• Source, seek, hire and fill skills and experience gaps among the Frontend Engineering team members.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree of Computing, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• Over 5 years of related work experience as the core member of the frontend development team in developing functional and appealing web- and mobile-based enterprise applications optimised in terms of loading performance, mobile responsiveness and enhanced user experience, preferably in fast-paced IT industry.
• Strong understanding of Design and Architecture Patterns particularly in frontend engineering of reactive/responsive web applications.
• Have extensive experience working with modern and reactive/responsive web development capabilities such as React.js, Vue.js, AngularJS, Next.js, and Typescript.
• Familiar with functional programming paradigms (eg. react hooks, rambda.js) and Graphql.
• Strong fluency in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML/HTML5/CSS, GIT and can implement and ingest designs elements from tools like Figma and Zeplin.
• Experience developing delivering scalable, maintainable, extensible, web-based enterprise grade applications.
• Familiar with web compatibility issues on common browsers (e.g. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, QQ, Sogou, UC), able to effectively solve browser compatibility and performance issues.
• Experience practitioner in agile frameworks, scrum methods or extreme programming.
• Excellent documentation skills in drafting clear and concise requirements and specifications along with in-depth knowledge of product strategy.
• Willing to roll-up one’s sleeves and provide a hands-on help to the team.
• Strong time management skills, ability to meet tight deadlines and successfully juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to lead, convince and inspire team members in a fast-paced environment.

• Lead the execution of brand strategy and develop new initiatives to win market share and ranking
• Ensure successful new product launches and review the pillars supported by effective 360 plans (PR, media, social media & digital, forecast, events and CRM, sell-out tracking and the product display in the points-of-sale)

• Direct Marketing agency to ensure in-store concepts and activities are well prepared and executed.
• Develop store concepts with Visual Merchandising agency to ensure visual merchandising are executed according with brand guidelines.
• Plan and execute impactful promotions and events setup.
• Ensure all POSM are delivered in timely basis for the launches.

Functional Description

Decision Science colleagues will serve as a key member of the Credit and Fraud Risk organization. We seek a thought-leader and a problem-solver who can blend business, technical, and industry best practices when it comes to developing the analyses, models, and algorithms that power our customers’ digital experiences.

This team is responsible for developing, implementing, and tracking AI/ML models for driving enterprise digital personalization in prospect marketing and automating data capability and model governance.

Our Decision Science teams use industry leading modeling and AI practices to predict customer behavior. We develop, deploy and validate predictive models and support the use of models in economic logic to enable profitable decisions across credit, fraud, marketing and servicing optimization engines.

The role will entail some of the below listed responsibilities:

• Work with massive amounts of digital data (Web, App, API) and sophisticated tools in an industry leading Big Data environment.
• Build everything from basic reports to advanced machine learning models and algos to drive improvements to our customer’s online and mobile app experiences.
• Work with product owners to revolutionize the product and content design with a data-driven approach
• Collaborate with tech partners to test, implement and deploy modeling solutions to production system.

Minimum qualifications and skills required across role types are highlighted below:

• Masters/PhDs in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Operation Research etc.) with hands-on experience leveraging sophisticated analytical and machine learning techniques.
• Expertise in an analytical language (Python, R or the equivalent), and experience with databases (Hive, SQL, or the equivalent). Knowledge of SAS is a plus but not required.
• Deep understanding of machine learning/statistical algorithms such as deep learning and boosting. Experience with data visualization is a plus
• Minimum 3 year of experience in marketing modeling
• Demonstrated ability to frame business problems into mathematical programming problems, leverage external thinking and tools (from academia and/or other industries) to engineer a solution and deliver business insights
