Job Responsibilities:

The job responsibilities of senior staff nurses would include those of staff nurses, but also to demonstrate competency in clinical skills and knowledgeby performing complex nursing procedures, utilizing clinical judgment, critical thinking and problems solving skills in the delivery of patient care. As a senior staff nurse, effective communication skills would be required to guide subordinates in all direct and in-direct patient care activities. Performing preceptorship duties and taking initiative in daily problem solving is a requirement. A senior staff nurse must also be able to demonstrate basic management and effective leadership skills.

Qualification/Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school by Singapore Nursing Board with either Certificate, Diploma or Degree OR; a Nursing Bachelor degree from a foreign country
• Full or conditional registration with Singapore Nursing Board
• At least 3 years of clinical experience
