Unleash the Roar! (UTR!) − is a national movement which aims to raise the levels of Singapore football, build strong support systems to nurture our next generation of talents and rally the nation behind the share dream. It is a long-term, whole-of-society effort covering grassroots development, elite youth pathways, infrastructure and community / fan engagement.

A critical part of UTR!’s development pathway focuses on expanding competitive opportunities. The Leagues & Competitions (L&C) team will be responsible for a variety of leagues, competitions and training camps to ensure that our talented young players have the chances to compete regularly and develop their skills in a high-level, intense competitive environment both locally and overseas.

Reporting to the L&C Team Lead, you be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing primarily the Singapore Youth League (SYL), other local youth competitions and overseas training camps & competitions.

Job Descriptions:

1. Events & Competitions Planning and Coordination:

• Develop comprehensive event, competition & overseas training plans, including objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to understand their vision, goals, and specific requirements.
• Research and recommend venues, vendors, and suppliers that align with needs and budget constraints.

2. Budget Management:

• Create and manage events, competitions & travelling budgets, ensuring all expenses are accounted for and within approved limits.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and suppliers to obtain the best terms and pricing.
• Monitor and report on budget performance, making adjustments as needed.

3. Team and Vendor Management:

• Lead and coordinate a team of staff, venue managers, volunteers etc., to assign tasks and oversee their execution towards smooth planning & operations.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers, ensuring they deliver as per agreed terms and standards.
• Handle on-site logistics, including setup, teardown, and managing event flow.

4. Stakeholder Relations:

• Liaise with key stakeholders such as clubs, sporting associations, technical officials, sponsors, parents regarding competition matters.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
• Ensure stakeholder's expectations are met or exceeded through effective communication and problem-solving.

5. Logistics and Operations:

• Oversee the logistical aspects of events, competitions & overseas trips, including transportation, catering, equipment, accommodations etc.
• Ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met for each event.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure all aspects of the events & competitions are in order.

6. Facilities Planning, Operations and Management:

• Work closely with internal divisions and external stakeholders to plan and manage competition facilities such as the Kallang Football Hub (KFH), SportSG’s network of football facilities, Dual-Use-Scheme (DUS) facilities, and explore new facilities.

7. Post-Event, Competitions & Overseas Training Trips Activities:

• Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present event reports, including attendee feedback, financial performance, and lessons learned.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders for potential future collaborations.

Requirements:

• Degree and above from sport management, business administration or related field. Renumeration / package will commensurate with candidates’ qualifications and experience.
• More than 5 years of relevant experience in event management for the Senior Manager level (with minimally 1-3 years in supervisory roles with a strong focus on leadership, strategic planning, operational oversight and stakeholder engagement) and 3-5 years of relevant experience for Manager level.

YOUR IMPACT _________                  

The Regional Assistant Retail Education Manager plays a key role in driving and animating the Makeup category, digital and client experience education strategy in Travel Retail Asia Pacific (TR APAC). As the subject matter expert in Makeup, you will be an integral part of the regional training team to adapt and create content for estimate population of 700 Beauty Consultants across 250 doors in the APAC region. You will lead the Makeup specialist development plan and build a community of passionate Dior Color Stylists and Makeup Artists.

With responsibility to support transversal projects within digital learning, you will manage makeup e-modules and drive BC engagement within this digital learning community. • Be the voice of Travel Retail APAC for Makeup Education
• Adapt and transmit centrally-created Makeup training modules and tools for TR APAC, collaborating with Regional Makeup Marketing and each market’s Training Managers (TM) on needs and strategy. 
• Deliver Train-the-trainer to TMs on key makeup modules including novelties, integration, professionalization, and specialization level.
• Closely follow global and regional Makeup trends, transmitting them to the field team through creation of digital content and videos.
• Work closely with the Digital Training project team to digitalize makeup modules.
• Together with the Regional Training team, produce Generic Staff 3-axis training modules and tools.

MAKEUP SPECIALISTS’ DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

• Plan and rollout yearly Makeup Specialist certifications with every market.
• Build field team’s passion in Makeup, identify and develop Makeup Specialists (Color Stylists & Makeup Artists).
• Build field team’s makeup expertise, makeup demonstration and application, and selling skills through seminars/ webinars, digital and/or physical.
• Maintain frequent communication with Makeup community via the digital training app, share relevant retail information and social media buzz updates. 
• Work closely with markets to consolidate and share key insights on Chinese and Local consumer trends and selling approach.

• Forecasting of grooming products and gifts for Makeup specialists & BCs and ensure timely order for on-counter date.

Primary Function of Position

The Manager will report to the Financial Controller and be responsible for the spectrum of finance functions, including accounting, consolidation and finance operations of Sun Venture's assets.
