• Be responsible for your decisions which will have a critical long term (typically up to five years) impact on the overall success of one or more functions.
• Interact with senior management, executives, and/or major customers which frequently involves negotiating matters of significance to the organization. Reconcile multiple stakeholder views to drive business results.
• Act as escalation and final decision point for Financial Crime and Sanctions matters.
• Be responsible (directly or through delegation) for SAR decisions, be the primary point of contact for all Singapore regulators.
• Ensure all regulatory reporting related to AML/Financial Crime is completed in an accurate and timely manner
• Ensure AML risks are appropriately documented and reported to senior leadership.
• Provide advice and guidance on policies, new product and expansion initiatives.
• Execute oversight on all outsourced Financial Crime Compliance activities.
• Direct and oversee the monitoring and testing key AML controls.
• Track and direct implement regulatory change.
• Manage and support internal / external audits and regulatory inspections.
• Complete special projects or any other duties that may be assigned.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Advanced knowledge of the Singapore Financial Crime and Markets Compliance regulatory environment and experience dealing with Monetary Authority of Singapore
• ESSENTIAL - Knowledge and experience with payment products domestic and internationally
• Extensive (approx. 7 years +) relative work experience with related bachelor’s degree (preferably a Law degree)
• Experience in a role related to AML/Financial Crime
• Demonstrated ability to advise senior business leadership and Board members on Financial Crime matters

Workhours: This position requires the incumbent to be available during core business hours. The candidate will be part of a global team and work with members located in different time-zones.

Responsible for the successful and effective project management inclusive of planning, implementation, execution, scheduling, monitoring and handover within specified schedule, budget and meeting client’s quality and relevant regulatory requirements

- Critical scrutiny of contract documents and drawings, communicate effectively and negotiate with consultants, clients, authorities, main and sub -contractors on engineering, contractual matters and project implementation

- Assists in ensuring that shop drawings are completed and submissions to the main contractor are carried out in a timely manner with drafting department

- Understand contract documentation in conjunction with Bills of Quantity ( B. Q. ) and material specifications

- Responsible for budget controls, tracking of expenditures and effectively manage and reduce the costs of delivering projects

- Ensure health and safety and regulatory compliance in accordance with all applicable and permit standards and requirements

- Attends project kick-off meetings, ongoing meetings and project closure meetings with main contractor, consultants and other parties

- Responsible for the submission of monthly progress claims and reports to the main contractor

- Assist in monitoring project cost budgets and ensuring that desired profit margins are achieved through cost containment, material wastage control and etc

- Any other duties as may be assigned

Requirements

- Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board ( PEB ) Singapore will be an advantage

- Minimum six ( 06 ) years of relevant project management experience in local construction industry

- Posses excellent leadership, planning, interpersonal communication and negotiation skills to lead a team of engineers and manage the sub-contractors

- Able to take on numerous challenging tasks while simultaneously meeting high standards and deadlines / vision

- Highly motivated, driven by excellence and having an eye for details

- Proficient in MS Project

- Able to commence work on a short notice will be an advantage

- Should be contactable by means of mobile phone at any time of the day

- Ability to multi-task and manage ad-hoc projects in a fast-paced environment

- Independent, responsible, organized and able to work under pressure
