• Proposed Better Freight Solution
• Handled internal tender from overseas office for project biddings
• Ensure all requests received for cost quotations, from clients are responded to within the shortest possible time frame/deadline.
• Retain responsibility for all aspects of pre contract by ensuring the responses are properly managed and collated to the required Company standards within the allotted time frame.
• Ensuring all technical information and quotes required from the Operations team and external service providers is received, evaluate, compile and submit to client within time frame / deadline.
• Manage the clarification process involving all parties required to make clarifications and return responses to Clients.
• Conduct and complete negotiations to award, ensuring agreed profit retention.
• Ensure adequate attendance to discuss client requirements
• Attend any particular business development issues with the client including sales calls
• Maintain good relationships with carrier/service provider to obtain more competitive cost.

Requirement

• Diploma / Degree in Logistics / Business Management or equivalent
• 2 – 4 years related Tender & Pricing experience in freight forwarding industry

Responsibilities

• Assume a pivotal role in the design and implementation of the next phase of autonomous mobile robots. Leverage expertise in ROS, robot navigation, and perception, along with proficient programming in C++/Python. Emphasize innovation while upholding the highest standards of reliability and robustness throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with diverse teams, including mechatronics, electrical, and software engineers, to seamlessly integrate new robot platforms or enhance existing ones within Smart+ app. Ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Integrate embedded systems into robotic platforms, utilizing protocols like serial, CAN bus, or Modbus for seamless communication between embedded ATmega microcontrollers, sensors/actuators, and the primary robotic system.
• Provide expert support for remote robot deployments at customer sites globally.
• Document the design, development, and deployment processes for future reference and knowledge sharing within the team. Capture insights gained from projects in documentation and present them in regular team sessions.

Requirements

• Education – Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering with a focus on robotics, mechatronics, or related fields.
• Experience – Preferred 1 or more years of experience, fresh grads are welcome.
• Industry – Previous experience/internship in a robotics company is required.
• Computing – Robotic automation/C++/Python, Linux, git, ROS.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred; experience in lieu of a degree will be considered for the right candidate
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical sales or business development, ideally with some background in BMS and Automation products
• Good industry knowledge (especially for HVAC control and Monitoring & Control System), with an existing network of contacts (preference)
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
