What We Are Looking For

The Regional HR Senior Manager / Director will play a key strategic role in aligning our human resource strategy with the overall business goals. The role requires a strong background in HR leadership, experience in operational HR management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, regional environment. As the HR leader, you will partner with senior leadership to drive all aspects of human resources including talent acquisition, employee development, labor relations, and compliance with regional and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop regional HR strategies that align with the company’s business objectives, particularly focusing on expanding operations in the Asia Pacific region

Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional HR certifications are preferred.

Experience

8 to 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 3 to 5 years in a regional role in the manufacturing industry.

Proven experience in both strategic HR leadership and hands-on operational HR functions.

Strong understanding of regional HR practices, with experience in Singapore, China and India being highly beneficial.

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and diverse teams across multiple regions.

Job Description

As part of the In-House Legal department you will provide legal advice for all aspects of Alter Domus’ work, support its business and internal functions on commercial, regulatory and transactional matters, whilst working in a team of experienced and versatile in-house lawyers across EMEA, APAC and North America.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Head of Legal EMEA and APAC.

Your responsibilities include:

Operate as primary point of contact for the business to assist and advise on matters concerning regulatory matters, corporate/commercial and contract law.

Support to EMEA/APAC In-House Legal:

• drafting and updating legal documentation, including standard services agreements, intra-group agreements, and outsourcing agreements and other types of commercial contracts;

• ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures and standards as well as Alter Domus’ standard contracting process;

Advising on legal aspects of client transactions and assist with understanding legal risk and corporate governance.

Providing business support:

• contribute to formal responses to client queries in support of operational teams;
• advise operational teams on the legal consequences of corporate and commercial documents; and

Your Profile

• Qualified solicitor in Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia or England & Wales.
• 3 to 5 years relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in-house in an international environment.
• Strong background in commercial law and demonstrable experience in the Financial Services industry and its regulatory environment.
• Experience in using legal technology platforms would be a distinct advantage.
• Excellent command of English and ability to present views clearly, concisely, and accurately to a wide array of audiences.

Department of Geography: Assistant Manager / Manager (Geographic Information Systems)

The Department of Geography at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is inviting applications for an Assistant Manager / Manager in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to provide support to the GIS Unit and its GIS educational programmes.

The GIS Unit spearheads the research, training and applications of GIS in the Department and aims to extend beyond the academic realm to foster an Asia-focused GIS ecosystem with global reach. The Department is the leading centre in Singapore for GIS research and teaching, hosting comprehensive geospatial and other laboratory facilities. It currently runs four GIS educational programmes at undergraduate and graduate levels based upon a diverse range of courses; the MSc in Applied GIS at the graduate level and the GIS Minor at the undergraduate level, and the Graduate Certificate in Applied GIS and Professional Certificate in Applied GIS for Continuing Education and Training. Plans are also underway to complement the existing programmes with a Graduate Diploma in Applied GIS (thereby creating a fully-stackable MSc degree in Applied GIS) and an undergraduate cross-disciplinary degree in computational geosciences.

The position is for two years in the first instance with the possibility of extension subject to performance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The person appointed will be expected to cover the following duties and responsibilities:

1. Administrative & admission coordinator for the GIS programmes

• Handling day-to-day programme administration.
• Assisting in reviewing and processing applications from prospective students.
• Coordinating students’ theses & projects-related activities/tasks for the MSc programme.

2. GIS/Computer lab management

• Run the day-to-day operations of the GIS/Computer labs and related facilities.

3. GIS outreach
