Job Scope details:

Conduct initial meetings to gather requirements and understand the existing infrastructure.

Document the project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Assessment and Planning:

Assess the current infrastructure and network setup.

Plan the VDI deployment, including resource allocation and network configuration.

Design:

Design the Omnissa architecture, including core components, and DR site setup.

Create detailed design documents covering all aspects of the deployment.

Implementation (DC and DR):

Deploy VMWare Hypervisor and vSphere components (vCenter, vSwitch)

Deploy Windows server machines, Microsoft SQL server, Windows KMS server, Vmware dynamic environment manager and App volume server

Configure Vmware Horizon/Omnissa for users.

Set up the DR site with replication and failover configurations.

Create and deploy master images for VDI desktops.

Implement user profile management and policies.

Provisioning of VDIs for users

Testing and Validation:

Conduct thorough testing of the VDI environment, user testing and failover tests.

Validate the setup with user acceptance testing (UAT).

Training and Documentation:

Provide knowledge transfers for administrators and end-users.

Deliver comprehensive documentation, including as-built documents and operational guides.

Go-Live and Support:

Assist with the go-live process and provide post-deployment support.

Required Loca Cat 2 Clearance prior to onboard candidate.

The Systems Engineer is responsible for providing technical support for Microsoft 365 (M365) applications, resolving technical incidents, and addressing service requests for users. This role also requires handling escalated customer issues to ensure satisfactory business outcomes. Key duties include major incident management, problem and change management, service and process improvements, customer relationship engagement, M365 user onboarding/offboarding, Windows OS support, and participation in end-user computing (EUC) projects, particularly related to M365 products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. M365 Application Support: Offer technical expertise on M365 applications, including Exchange Online, MS Teams, OneDrive, Defender, Intune/Autopilot, SharePoint Online, and core M365 services. Promote best practices for efficient M365 use.
2. Troubleshooting and Incident Resolution: Analyze and resolve issues, collaborating with external vendors and support personnel as needed.
3. System Administration: Perform administrative tasks in Azure Active Directory, including managing users/groups, security permissions, group policies, systems configuration, event log analysis, and resource monitoring.
4. Technical Support Collaboration: Work with the service desk and support teams to troubleshoot, identify root causes, and provide technical assistance.
5. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation, including knowledge base articles, for M365 and EUC services.
6. Employee Training: Deliver training on M365 applications, translating technical capabilities into accessible guidance.
7. Intune and Autopilot Expertise: Provide hands-on support and configuration of Microsoft Intune, focusing on packaging, deployment, reporting, troubleshooting, and policy creation.
8. Windows OS and Desktop Support: Support Windows OS, desktop, and laptop hardware/software, conducting installations per customer requirements.
9. Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Conduct RCA for EUC service issues, including those related to M365 products, as part of the problem management process.
10. Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with support vendors for maintenance and issue resolution as needed.
11. Customer Satisfaction and Support: Collaborate with the team to meet high customer satisfaction levels, acting as the main contact for assessing new workplace products and tools.
12. Project Support for EUC Transition: Support the workplace team and Transition Manager during EUC-related transitions, ensuring a smooth process.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Degree or diploma in Computer Science or IT.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years in Microsoft 365 technologies, with significant experience in supporting M365 users.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune (including packaging, deployment, reporting, troubleshooting, policy creation, and patching).
• Certification: MS Azure-related certification is mandatory.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in IT networking for first-level troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of MS Windows, M365, desktop hardware, and network environments.
• Soft Skills:

Job Responsibilities:

Architecture

• To provide architectural expertise thereby driving change and improvement in technology and process.
• To contribute to the development of the SSO and LDAP technology roadmaps.
• To liaise with architecture teams in undertaking architectural reviews
• To stay abreast of emerging technologies and technology trends.
• To automatize the process to accelerate the delivery time

Project Delivery

• To take responsibility for the delivery of key projects around SSO and LDAP which are aligned to drive significant change within the platform.
• To work with the Application Production Support project managers in defining, designing, documenting and implanting new functionality for existing and new applications.
• To liaise with the Application Developers in low-level diagnosis of on-going issues.
• To provide subject matter expertise on SSO and IDM technologies to all business application teams.
• To act as technology evangelists for the improvement of process and technology in use for the Authentication services within the client.

Platform Support and Maintenance

• Pro-actively monitor, manage and improve availability and performance of the production environments (from presentation and application layers to Infrastructure layers)
• Pro-actively manage the capacity of production applications

Incident and Problem Management

• To work with partner teams to conduct analysis of major and critical incidents.
• To identify tactical or strategic improvements that can be introduced to help reduce the number of on-going incidents within the SSO and LDAP area.

Change Management

• To work within the change management framework adopted by the client to ensure that all changes to the production environment are planned and executed in a controlled manner.
• To take responsibility for the quality of changes within the SSO and IDM environments, ensuring that changes raised are of sufficient standard in terms of technical and planning detail.
• Attending and sharing knowledge / updates in the Weekly Change Control Board Meetings and the Weekly Problem Management Meetings.

Requirements:

· 10 to 15 years relevant experience in Piping/Mechanical Engineering.

· Relevant Experience: Possess hands-on experience of at least 5 years as Lead Piping Engineer of large sized FPSO/Offshore platform/Topsides Modules projects
