• Assist WSH Officer/ WSH Manager to ensure work site compliance with Workplace Safety and Health regulations and statutory requirements
• Enforce all safety requirements and in-house safety rules and regulations
• Conduct and coordinate Workplace Safety Inspections, Safety Trainings and Tool-box meetings
• Assist to organize and promote safety activities and campaigns to raise safety awareness on site
• Identify unsafe acts and conditions created or practices and ensure proper documentation are recorded
• Report, investigate and implement corrective/ preventive actions resulting from identification of hazards, incidents and work-related incidents/ illness
• Ensure that employees are thoroughly aware of and trained in their safety and health responsibilities

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience in LTA project as Lifting Engineer
• Degree in Civil Engineering or its equilvalent
• Obtained approved MOM Lifting Supervisor certificate

We’re looking for an experienced, creative Senior Electrical Engineer, recognized for technical expertise, to work independently on various design projects concurrently. Responsibility will include oversight of the entire design process or assisting as a technical expert on a specialized design.

As an experienced electrical you’ll assess the requirements of a project, break it into tasks, and work with a Project Manager to determine the scope of work, budget, and staffing. After assigning work to the project team, you’ll regularly review their progress and alert the PM to any changes in scope. Maintaining quality in accordance with company production and design standards is critical.

Based in Singapore, you will research design options and write electrical design scopes of work based on preliminary reviews and meetings with clients. You’ll also prepare engineering studies and schematic designs for new systems and analyze the operation of existing systems. Some drawings you’ll create yourself, and other sketches will be incorporated into drawings by drafters. You may create specialized drawings such as electrical riser diagrams. Knowledge of local codes and industry-standard equipment and the ability to specify it for proper applications is important. You’ll also do estimating, review contractor

applications for payments, review construction budgets, and coordinate document completion.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited four-year College or University.
• Experience with the design of building electrical systems, such as: building service, power distribution, generators, lighting, fire alarm, security, and other low voltage systems.
• 10+ years of Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Nutraceutical, or Life Science industry experience.
• Experience in computer operation for engineering design programs and computer-aided drafting (ETAP /DiLux /AutoCAD /Revit).
• Good English communication skills.
• Chinese communication skills preferred, but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional electrical design experience from feasibility and conceptual design through final commissioning and closeout.
• Experience with High Voltage, medium voltage systems, Low voltage, electrical generation and distribution systems, electrical hazardous classified areas, and ELV system such as, Fire alarm PAGA, CCTV, Access control, data & telecommunications systems.
• Strong understanding of the IEEE, IEC, NFPA 72, Singapore Local SP code.
