Job Description & Requirements

The position above will be assigned up to 8 cases to manage. Your role is to provide psychological, emotional, cognitive, physical and appropriate disciplinary support for the residents residing in the dormitory. You will also be using a Trauma Informed care approach and must endeavour to promote the resident’s best interest at all times.

Resident Management

Your Key Responsibilities is to:

1) Support the Team Lead in managing one of the dormitories (Units).

a. Plan & execute weekly & holiday unit bonding programmes with input from the residents in your unit. The programmes must be varied, engaging, appropriate & beneficial for the residents.

b. Participate in regular circle times with all the residents in your unit to give instructions & information or to get their feedback.

c. Managing the resident in the dormitory according to the individualized care plan.

d. Manage the educational needs of your residents: Attend parent-teacher meetings and ensure that your residents attend school, complete their daily homework, help residents revise for exams, ensure residents have the required school books, appropriate school uniform and other equipment; provide additional tuition support when needed in cooperation with the Education Department.

2) Ensure the resident’s safety, health & good behaviour when they are in the Home and during outings & appointments.

a. Monitor the residents to ensure that they are present in the Home, unit or the activity you are supervising (or their whereabouts are known to you when they are not at the Home) and double check, communicate and give permission for residents to leave areas or activities under your supervision when it is requested or required.

b. Ensure that they follow and adhere to the structure in the Home.

c. Monitor the residents to ensure that they are physically safe and do not partake in any risky behaviour or activities which may cause themselves or others physical injury – especially during playtime.

d. Monitor & report to the department Heads of any complaints from residents, family members, volunteers or visitors to the Home.

e. Monitor & report to the Department Heads of any signs or suspicions of physical, sexual or emotional abuse or self-harm.

f. Monitor & manage the behaviour of the residents by encouraging & rewarding good behaviour and by preventing, discouraging or discipline misbehaviour in strict adherence to the rules & discipline procedures of the Home.

g. You are required to strictly supervise residents, the use of electronic devices; adhere to a strict locked toilet & “one-at-a-time” policy; teach rules and provide reminders about good touch & bad touch; and check in with residents to flag any behavioural concerns and issues.

Case Management

1) Provide counselling and psychological support by regularly meeting the residents monthly and ensure that these sessions are maintained in written records.

2) Assess residents’ overall wellbeing and formulate a care plan to monitor the progress and development of the resident.

a. Recommend appropriate intervention and disciplinary actions/programs as part of care plan

b. Monitor and record changes in resident’s behavioural performance in care plan and provide updates during care plan meetings or when necessary.

c. To develop and enhance systems to improve existing services

d. Work with the Team Lead & Residential Care Officer to ensure the implementation of care plan interventions.

3) Work with CSLMCH Education Manager and various stakeholder from school to oversee the resident’s academic and behavioural performance in school.

a. Reply emails to and answer calls from school teachers/principal

b. Attend Meet-the-parents sessions in school

c. Application of bursary and financial assistance

d. Monitor student’s academic performance and recommend follow up programs to promote academic improvements

4) Work with various stakeholders & community partners (e.g. MSF & FSC) to plan and work towards family reunification.

a. Maintain a positive working relationship with the various stakeholders & community partners.

b. Conduct home visits when necessary (especially when residents are on home leave and on extended home leave).

c. Update residents’ family on their performance in the Home and propose reintegration to their families when applicable or appropriate

d. Conduct and facilitate programmes for the resident’s reintegration back to their families based on the approved care plan.

e. Work in partnership with other professionals and attend meetings including case conferences, case reviews, school meetings, hospital meetings etc.

5) Maintain proper record of all the services rendered to the resident in accordance to organization policy and MSF licensing requirement

2) Take on any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Minimum requirement

Academic & trades qualifications

Essential

· Degree in Psychology, Social Work or Counselling from a recognized institution/university with more than 2 years’ experience in a relevant field.

· Well versed in English and a 2nd language (Chinese/Tamil/Hindi/Malay)

Desirable

· Certificate in Residential Care for Children and Young persons

• Knowledgeable and competent in conducting case management support, applying trauma informed care framework, strategies and intervention in a residential setting.
• Work with the residents and their family in a sustained way to raise their capacity to cope with circumstances so as to bring about improved social functioning and well-being.
• Equip residents and their family with the required knowledge and ability to navigate through various helping professionals to gain access to necessary resources and services.
• Ability to complete reports within the given timelines.

· Experience working with “out of home care” residents who are affected by issues including neglect, abuse, domestic violence, mental health and parental substance abuse.

· Has relevant experience or worked in a child-centred environment

· Has experience with children & youths with trauma, challenging behaviour or special needs.

The Payroll Manager, Asia Pacific & Japan will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing of 10+ countries in Asia Pacific region, in partnership with external 3rd party payroll providers. Job Description: Job Description: The Group Audit CRO team are responsible for global coverage of the CRO function. The current team is comprised of about 50 FTEs based in 8 locations (London, Frankfurt, New York, Singapore, Berlin, Bonn, Madrid, Cary) with Principal Audit Managers based in 6 of these. The above includes the APAC Risk team which is comprised of 4 team members based in Singapore and a Principal Audit Manager who reports directly into the CRO Chief Auditor for Non-Financial Risk based in Cary. Although much of the focus of this team is on coverage of all risk types (i.e. CRM, MRM, NFRM and ERM) in the APAC region, it also plays a significant support role in the coverage of global Risk processes and works closely with the regional APAC audit teams to provide 'front-to-back' assurance of key businesses in the APAC region and to act in an advisory capacity for CRO related matters. This Principal Audit Manager role which is being hired will be responsible for the planning, staffing, risk assessment and delivery of audits covering the CRO function. The role will also involve: Owning and driving the audit process, identifying and escalating audit issues and quality controlling audits and subsequent reporting. Reviewing all audit issues and recommending audit grades and issuing ratings for final approval. Serving as a subject matter expert with regard to the areas of business coverage, developing further relevant technical expertise and contributing to enhancements of the audit approach. Working with divisional leadership to provide 'front-to-back'/ SME audit coverage and 'joined-up' assurance. Acting as a primary relationship manager for senior CRO management stakeholders and representing the division at committees and forums both internally and externally. Contributing to functional planning of the audit plan related to own area of responsibility, adjusting the plan and advising any changes to the Chief Auditor. Delivering and sustaining own and team performance against key objectives in the context of functional strategies. Providing input to the risk assessments, audit plan and approaches. Approving audit work papers and ensuring that they meet the Audit methodology and quality standards. Determining team involvement and individual responsibilities for each audit. Reviewing and providing expert opinions on action plans provided by clients, helping them develop robust remediation plans. Approving the closure of Significant and Important audit issues in line with GA methodology. Responsible for ensuring that testing conducted to assess design and operating effectiveness of controls at the time of issue closure validation is comprehensive and adequately documented. Partnering with relevant Regional Heads on a timely and effective basis regarding matters affecting their region. Communicating the Banks/divisional strategy, plans and values within their teams and ensuring understanding and alignment. Conducting exit meetings for all FTE staff members that leave the team (internal GA transfers, internal bank transfers and bank leavers) - Key points raised during the exit meeting are documented and shared with relevant Chief Auditor. Establishing and maintaining a client service/relationship approach with CRO stakeholders in order to understand their business needs. Managing a team of auditors and being actively engaged in managing other talent and resources (e.g. external support staff) including recruiting, training, career development and succession planning. Creating and reinforcing an environment where people management and development is a key priority and personally demonstrates their commitment to their immediate and the wider function. Managing direct reports, through empowering them to deliver on their objectives, providing coaching and support to enable them to be successful. Skills and Experiences The candidate must have: Minimum 10 years of experience in financial services or 'big 4' accounting firm, including in an audit delivery role. This should include an advanced understanding of internal auditing standards and concepts, risk and control concepts and the three lines of defence model. Proven knowledge and experience of the activities of the Chief Risk function of a global investment bank, including an understanding of the associated risks and regulatory requirements. Proven knowledge and experience of banking activities, including capital market products and relevant regulatory requirements. Outstanding operational and people management skills; must possess the ability to operate a diverse team, appraise individual potential, motivate teams. Strong communication skills, communicating with clarity, both orally and in writing, in a logical order and structured approach. Fluent in English (written and verbal). Strong relationship management, analytical, problem solving, communication, influencing, planning and presentation skills. The ability to challenge and be challenged whilst maintaining the highest levels of professionalism. Experience in building and managing effective teams and relationships.
