Position Summary

The Sales Operations Manager directly reports to the Part Leader of Product Management and, indirectly reports to the Korean expatriate.

The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for optimizing the sales team's performance through strategic planning, performance tracking, and operational efficiency within the Southeast Asia & Oceania region. This role involves managing key sales metrics, overseeing KPI performance, and ensuring effective supply chain management. The Sales Operations Manager works closely with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals and ensures that sales targets are consistently met.

Roles & Responsibilities

· Sales Metrics & KPI Management:

- Monitor and analyze sales performance data

- Track KPIs to assess team effectiveness and identify areas for improvement

- Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for management

· Strategic Planning:

- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business objectives

- Support the sales team in achieving targets through process optimization and goal-setting

- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to enhance sales strategies

· Supply Chain Management:

- Oversee supply chain operations within Southeast Asia & Oceania region to ensure they effectively support sales activities

- Manage inventory, demand forecast, and other related supply chain matters

· Collaboration & Communication:

- Work closely with sales, finance, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on goals and performance

- Enhance the effectiveness of sales teams by sharing best practices in sales processes and operations

- Adapt and localize materials used in other regions, including those from the Korean market

Skills & Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field

· 5+ years’ experience in international sales & KPI management

· Proven ability to optimize and enhance existing processes based on market feedback

· Agility and resilience to navigate and influence within a Samsung matrix environment at a local, regional, and global level

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish strong relationships with local sales organizations and stakeholders

· Excellent communication skills essential for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and also communications with the Suwon office

· Self-motivation, assertiveness, and comfort in a fast-paced environment

· Strategic planning and report writing skills

· Business-level Korean language proficiency is required to liaise with key stakeholders in the Suwon Office in South Korea. Proficiency in other Asian languages is a plus

· Occasional travel within Southeast Asia & Oceania and to Suwon office in South Korea

As an Analyst in the Private Bank Credit Operations, you will work closely with Securities Based Lending (SBL) Lenders, Lending Advisors, and Credit Risk Executives to deliver excellent client service, facilitate the origination of loans, monitor credit risk exposures, and provide comprehensive credit solutions for clients of the Private Bank's Ultra High Net Worth market teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist SBL Lenders in underwriting all facilities secured by clients’ investment portfolios, including new requests, annual reviews, and monitoring of ongoing credit risk events such as margin calls, document credit exceptions, and unauthorized excesses in accordance with the Credit and Risk policies of the Private Bank.

• Analyze collateral pool and grade appropriately per credit policy, including ability to flag any credit exceptions or non-standard terms for review

• Handle credit documentation, including preparation, liaising with internal legal on documentation drafting, signature verification, scanning, and filing.

• Monitor and review the loan portfolio, regularize excesses (shortfalls) as per the Credit guidelines, regulations, credit policies, and guidelines.

• Collaborate closely with the Credit Underwriting team, Credit Executives, and other stakeholders on exception handling for credit facilities extended to Asia Private Banking clients.

• Assist Lenders in pipeline management and other strategic initiatives.

• Explore and develop automation opportunities for existing reports using Intelligent Automation tools like Alteryx, Python, Unqork, UiPath and Xceptor.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related disciplines

• Maximum 2 years of relevant work experience in Credit Risk or Lending in a financial institution

• High-level analytical skills - able to use qualitative and quantitative tools to analyze complex financial situations.

• Strong communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills.

• High level of attention to detail with good time management.

• Teamwork ethic and focus; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Good organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Demonstrated interest in financial markets and understanding of risk measures.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Hands on knowledge of credit documentation preparation is a plus

• Knowledge and/or experience of KYC and cross-border regulatory issues.

• Good understanding of PB credit products, financial markets, and the securities industry.

• Proficiency in Tableau, Alteryx, Python would be a strong plus.

Call & Service Activity Management

• Answer customer calls and register them in the service management system following the call management process and quality compliance requirements
• Determine the routing of the customer call depending on the customer’s request and contract obligations
• Create service work orders if necessary
• Assign and dispatch Field Services Engineers (FSE’s) to assign service orders based on the advice of the FSE with helpdesk / response center duty or the Team Lead Field Services (or Service Delivery Manager) in the district
• Order spare parts if required and dispatch to FSEs/ customers
• Plan & coordinate the Preventive Maintenance schedule with customers & FSE. Escalate to CS Delivery Manager for non-compliance.
• Inform Customers about the status of their call and make detailed appointments
• Manage the progress of the customer call and escalate if service levels are in danger

Quotation & Order Process Management

• Prepare service opportunities in SFDC
• Prepare services and spare parts quotations to customer following the Quotation Process.
• Get T&M and service quotes approved by District Operations Manager, Team Lead or Account Manager CS
• Send the approved T&M quote to the customer
• Follow up with customers on open quotations
• Process Customer Purchase Orders for services and spare parts.
• Manage DMR / billings and the closing of corresponding work orders

Order / Invoicing & Service Record Retention

• Compile service reports, parts delivery notes and other supporting documents for the purchase order invoicing
• Manage the Service Report retention process, ensure service reports properly filed for the audit purposes

Logistics support

• Follow up delivery status of ordered spare parts. Identify delivery issues and take corrective actions timely by working closely together with suppliers and physical distribution to resolve the issues
• Coordinate inbound/ outbound delivery of parts, and local shipment to customer site
• Coordinate warehouse activities (if applicable)
• Follow up hold procedure in case of hazard situations
• Report Defective on Arrival (DEFOA) following DEFOA process
• Comply with export control regulation

Requirements:

• Experience in Sales Operations or Customer Services
• Proactive and with good communication skills
• Fluent in English, verbal and written in addition to local language
• Knowledge of Microsoft office tools (especially Excel & Word) required. Knowledge of ServiceMax and SAP is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with sales team on pricing maintenance.

· Assist sales team on procurement of stocks.

· Manage stock inventory and ensure inventory is accurate across all channels.

· Collaborate and communicate with Sales team and 3PL warehouse on matters pertaining to inventory and logistics matters.

· Handle operations management systems and processes to comply with Purchase, Logistics and Inventory policies.

· Handle logistic arrangement to affiliated companies, distribution partners and customers, including customers’ enquiries which involve in orders processing, delivery, replacements or returns of customers’ orders, scheduling shipments, coordinating with freight forwarders and handle inbound/outbound shipment requirements.

· Manages inventory accuracy and inventory level at all stores, warehouse locations within budget level including initiating physical counts, identify and investigating variances.

· Handle inventory replenishment, order placement, duty-declaration where needed and inventory withdrawals and arrange for deliveries.

· Liaise with appointed external warehouse and logistics partners to complement the business needs of the group and affiliated companies.

· Perform other duties assigned by immediate superior.

· Possess Diploma/Degree in any field or relevant qualifications with at least 3 years of related experience

· Familiar with regional logistics and compliance requirements and/or Travel Retail environment
