• Possess a National Certificate in Construction Supervision (NCCS) and at least 10 years of similar capacity relevant working experience in Construction.
• Able to read drawings will be an added advantage.

• Reports to Construction Manager
• Comprehensive understanding of the drawings and specification, phasing plans, construction sequencing and project schedule
• Supervising and leading workers and sub-contractors to perform on-site works
• Assisting in manpower and resource scheduling and deployment, daily man-hours returns and coordinate in all aspects of site issues
• Keeping record of the daily manpower and productivity
• Monitoring job progress and ensure quality work at targeted schedule
• Participate in any WSH-related campaign and activities when required. (WSH Inspection, TBM, etc.)
• Participate and/or advise to formulate WSH control measures with the Risk Assessment Team (RAT) for assigned duties.
• Ensure the activities comply with the local Authorities’ quality, environment, health & safety requirements and Clients’ General Specification
• Other duties as assigned by site manager

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Architectural or Civil / Structural Engineering
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience in Building Projects / Construction Industry
• Experience in High-rise Building in confined city area preferred
• Candidate with BCSS/WSHMCI or equivalent certification is mandatory for this position
• Proficient in Permit to Work process and Risk Assessment

• Lead the team in executing electrical work during the construction phase, including cable tray installation, cable pulling, panel installation, cable termination, and testing/commissioning for MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, DCIS/HMI, etc.
• Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with design documents.
• Manage a team comprising supervisors, sub-contractors, and vendors.
• Responsible for electrical interfaces with the operational team, conducting meetings, and providing technical clarifications.
• Investigate and troubleshoot electrical switchgear faults or failures, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyze and enhance equipment reliability to prevent recurrence, collaborating with operation groups and external contractors.
• Prepare documentation for maintenance work, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and utilizing appropriate Method Statements and Risk Assessments, meeting BCA requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure systems, equipment, and rooms align with internal customers' needs.
• Review inspection and testing plans for electrical and instrument system installations through relevant checklists.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the smooth completion of projects.
• Ensuring each stage of the project happens on time, on budget and to a high standard.
• Liaising with staff at every level.
