Job Description:

• Handle the daily operations of Finance & Accounting Department including maintenance of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and project accounting.
• Develop more efficient and accurate work procedure by utilizing workflow system and RPA solutions.
• Handle monthly / quarterly closing of financial records and posting of month end information; ensures accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and month end closings.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements such as Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets of MHI-AP and its branch offices and subsidiaries for Management & Headquarters.
• Complete quarterly reporting of consolidation packages (SAP-FC) within the deadline
• In charge of accounting matters related to overseas entities such as accounting / tax (incl. transfer pricing) / internal audit / work procedure
• Proposing and maintain proper accounting methods, policies and principles to ensure overseas entities are operating efficiently & effectively
• Proposing solution for accounting and tax issues on overseas entities
• Traveling to overseas entities required
• Manage both internal & external Audits for local and overseas entities with counterparts and auditors
• Liaise and work closely with the tax agent and relevant local authority in order to ensure the company’s tax filing comply the requirements from government including transfer pricing.

Job Requirements:

• Hold a Diploma/Degree in accounting.
• SAP knowledge
• SG GAAP and IFRS knowledge
• Knowledge and experience of financial accounting, tax accounting and cost management
• International Travel

• Good leadership, strong mechanical, analytical & problem-solving skills on auto equipment and people.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills & customer service oriented.
• Knowledge of Japanese is an advantage.
