• Design software and hardware architectures specific to the built environment, including IoT systems for smart buildings
• Develop strategies for implementing data products, analytics, and applied AI in the context of construction management and urban planning

Research and Analysis

• Conduct in-depth technical analysis of emerging technologies in the built environment sector
• Lead the analysis of data from construction projects or smart building systems to derive insights for product improvements
• Identify industry trends and potential partnership opportunities within the built environment ecosystem from a technical perspective

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in OT systems design and integration, preferably in smart city or built environment projects
• Strong knowledge of OT protocols (e.g., Modbus, BACnet, DNP3) and industrial control systems
• Experience with SCADA systems, PLCs, and other industrial automation technologies
• Familiarity with IT/OT convergence and cybersecurity in OT environments
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Project management experience in large-scale OT integration projects
• Deep understanding of IoT systems, data analytics, and AI applications in smart buildings and cities
