• Coordinate and/or manage project deployment tasks to include design, implementation integration, formal testing, configuration changes and specification/as-built documentations.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide Level 1-2 support for IBM AIX operating systems and related technologies

· Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues on IBM AIX systems.

· Perform system administration tasks such as installation, configuration, and maintenance of AIX servers.

· Proficient in virtualization technologies such as SR-IOV, SEA, PowerVM Virtual I/O Server (VIOS), HACMP, Spectrum Scale (GPFS)

· Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance.

· To perform disaster recovery support and testing on IBM Aix systems.

· Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate AIX systems into the overall IT infrastructure.

· Develop and maintain documentation related to AIX systems and configurations.

· Participate in on-call rotation and respond to critical incidents in a timely manner.

· Identify and implement security measures to protect AIX systems from potential threats.

· Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in AIX and related technologies.

· Experience in managing complex AIX environments.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Relevant certifications, such as IBM Certified Specialist - Power Systems or IBM Certified Advanced Technical Expert - Power Systems, are a plus

• Fully familiar and hands-on knowledge of the latest design software.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be fully familiar with European code
• Hands-on experience with the analysis and design of large building projects in structural steel, R.C. and post tensioned concrete

The incumbent will specifically be responsible for:

• Set design criteria, check design calculation and drawings;
• Assist in preparing fee proposals;

• Registered PE in Singapore will be favourably considered;
• Experience with project management would be an advantage

a. Provide day-to-day support of IT computing devices and troubleshooting via emails, phone calls, and walk-ins

b. Perform first level support to troubleshoot and solve technical issues

c. Perform L2 and L3 escalations if necessary and required

d. Ensure and follow help desk procedures for all call and ticketing tracking from start to end (initial support to resolution)

e. Take ownership of all problems reported to the help desk. For outstanding issues pending user response, report and alert the IT Manager / POC for internal escalation procedure

f. Interface with other maintenance vendors (vendor management) for problem reporting and resolution

g. Perform IT project rollout as planned by the Customer, including new PC purchase. receiving, move and change (IMAC Services)
