Position Overview

As a DevOps Engineer at Aprisium, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between software development and IT operations. You will be responsible for automating and streamlining deployment processes, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring system reliability, scalability, and security. Your work will enable Aprisium to deliver software updates quickly, efficiently, and securely, supporting the continuous improvement of our IoT systems.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to support Aprisium’s IoT systems.
• Develop and maintain scalable, highly available infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Monitor system performance and reliability, ensuring high availability and resilience of production environments.

Automation and CI/CD:

• Automate deployment pipelines and integrate Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes to streamline software development and releases.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) for building, testing, and deploying applications.
• Write and maintain scripts to automate tasks and infrastructure processes using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Bash scripting.

Monitoring and Security:

• Implement monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to ensure proactive detection and resolution of issues.
• Conduct regular system audits and implement security best practices to protect against unauthorized access, vulnerabilities, and data breaches.
• Collaborate with the security team to enforce security policies and ensure that cloud infrastructure is secure by design.

Collaboration and Support:

• Work closely with development teams to ensure that applications are developed and deployed in a reliable and efficient manner.
• Provide support for application troubleshooting, system performance, and infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet product and business needs.

Process Improvement:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance system performance, scalability, and security.
• Stay up to date on the latest tools, technologies, and best practices in the DevOps space.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, managing cloud infrastructure and automating deployment processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.

• Gather feedback from stakeholders and finalize product requirement documents with clarity on objectives and execution details.
• Prepare and archive technical documents such as drawings, specifications, test results etc.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer with expertise in reclamation projects and related land works. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction and reclamation activities, ensuring that all works comply with local regulations, safety standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage reclamation and land work operations, including, temporary works, sand filling, and compaction activities.
• Monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure all works comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Prepare and submit required reports, permits, and documentation for local authorities and project stakeholders.
• Conduct quality checks on materials and workmanship to ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Resolve any construction issues that arise on-site.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with client representatives, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
• Ability to clearly present project updates, resolve conflicts, and build positive relationships with management and all stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background:
  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land reclamation or land development projects.
  • Experience with large-scale civil engineering projects, including coastal or marine environments, is preferred.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with local environmental and safety regulations.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work on-site 5.5 days per week at project locations.

As the Facility & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility operation, maintenance and projects within our electricity generating plants, ensuring compliance with local regulatory policies. In addition, you will be involved in the development of a Facilities Asset Management Plan, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules & activities.
• Respond to work order requests and equipment maintenance schedules & activities.
• Investigate, analyze and determine root cause and report breakdowns and faults effectively.
• Carry out and review facilities’ maintenance programs and recommend actions as required.
• Identify and report on plant and equipment inefficiencies and possible improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate operational systems and facility infrastructure to ascertain and improve operational efficiencies.
• Monitor and review plant infrastructure, asset life expectancy and implement long-term maintenance plans.
• Prepare Purchasing Documents for the purchase of spares & the purchase of Work Services required to carry out the rectification works of the faulty equipment, faulty buildings’ infrastructure etc. (E.g. Preparation of tender specifications for service contracts such as cleaning, landscaping, pest control, waste disposals, card access systems, lifts & sewerage treatment plants’ service & maintenance works, auto-gates/ auto-barriers maintenance).
• Prepare the Facility Asset Management Plan (AMP).
• Design and oversee the implementation of facility expansion, layout, systems, and quality controls.
• Engage contractors and establish procedures to supervise and monitor the performance of contractors to ensure that the company’s requirements for work services are met.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
• Prepare technical reports on breakdowns, proposals and compliance documents.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Management Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with SAP, and MS Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of the building regulatory requirements in Singapore.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Experienced in managing small to medium scale plant & building facilities incorporating maintenance plans, scheduling, costings, and cost controlling.
• Experienced in carrying out plant & buildings maintenance works, demonstrates personal creativity and/or flexibility in problem solving and budgeting process approaches

• To support product prototype, build and MP.
• To work with cross functional team members within the organization and customers with different cultures and comfortable to work with virtual team members from remote sites.

Job Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering Degree holder or equivalent degree.
• Knowledge on materials, processes and simulation.
• Good communication skills and good team plater.
• Proficiency with Pro-E design tools or similar.
• Knowledge of international ME test standard such as MIL standard etc.
• Knowledge of Tooling, TA, reliability test.
• Prior experience in mobile, automotive, medical devices is added advantage.
