The Supply Chain Process Engineer leads the implementation of best-in-class Logistics and Warehousing capabilities for Singapore market, to transform the local supply chain for better agility, ultimate luxury service, cost and cash efficiencies and sustainability, leveraging digitalization and automation. 1. Warehouse & Transportation Management:

• Order Management: Establish strategies and implement plans to move to a touchless order management flow – from order acquisition to order processing and to order release to warehousing operations for pick and pack
• Warehouse operations: Define strategies to implement best-in-class operations for the warehousing team, looking at opportunities to implement automation solutions in the areas of receiving, stock counting, picking, packing and/or shipping. Implement inventory forecasting and warehouse capacity planning to improve business plans and business continuity. In driving alignment with business teams, Head of Supply Chain should be consulted and will need to sign off on final process. This role will need to propose options for the business teams and Head of Supply Chain to consider.
• Transportation management: Redesign transportation management with better work integration with transportation companies and better efficiency for the team.

2. Digital Transformation

• Streamline work processes: Lead the transformation to a fully digital organization, with objectives to streamline work processes and complete elimination of low added-value tasks with improved lead time, better compliance to global policies and better productivity. This includes deployment of new IT solutions and/or development of no/low code solution for the team
• Digital Twin: upon completion of foundation layer of digitalization, lead the implementation of a warehousing and transportation digital twin, creating a virtual model of the existing operation and enabling advanced analytics, scenario planning and cost and inventory optimizations

3. Others

• Continuously keep abreast of and advise management regarding changes or latest trends in warehouse and transportation management practices

With a focus on always putting customers first, our Field Service Engineer is expected to work closely with our regional customer base to ensure maximum equipment uptime, software optimal utilization, training and troubleshooting functions. 

Field Service Engineer is expected to be a role model and poise to mentor and develop junior service engineers on the day-to-day activities, coaching sessions and able to report and assign task to juniors and self and provide reports back to global service leads.

Key Responsibilities

• Build strong service support rapport with regional key account customers in APAC.
• Site Preparation; instrument Installations; training; troubleshooting, preventative maintenance as core task
• Facilitating service contract proposals and tracking as and when required.
• Function as an integral part of a wider global support team to offer “In Time zone 24/7” emergency service support call and troubleshooting assistance as and when assigned with urgent breakdown call with overnight travel either regionally or globally.    
• Train and support customer in the application of “SFDC sales force” CRM platform as a service case tool to record and track service cases
• Support the generation of training aids and technical documentations as required
• Provide timely and concise Pre/Post trip reports and SFDC updates to maintain proper customer CRM records
• Work closely with the commercial and customer service team to ensure prompt and responsive customer support in building strong customer allegiance for the LGC, D&G branding.

• Develop Manufacturing / Operating Instructions and necessary Standard Operating Procedures.
• Develop, maintain, review and troubleshoot the process control system recipe / models. Guide process engineer in team for the process control system recipe / models development.
• Investigate, report and troubleshoot findings on both quality and EHS related issues observed during manufacturing or during batch record review. Participate or lead quality / safety investigations and implement any corrective and preventive actions from these investigations.
• Develop, implement and monitor robust preventive measures for processing issues.
• Lead/ part of cross functional team for product transfer of new product on site and interface with above site and transferring sites to ensure flawless transfer of product to site.
• Able to carry out technical and/or GMP assessment for evaluation of processes.
• Lead/ part of team for product/ process transfer between the different process centric team for the commercial manufacturing and provide technical guidance to the process centric team and/ or operation team during the manufacturing.
• Play a pro-active role and lead changes in ensure the site safety and quality standards are adhered to.
• Proactively monitor, identify, develop and implement improvements in processes and equipment.

Job Description:

The primary focus of this role is on the engineering, maintenance, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Energy Storage Systems (ESS) for battery electric vessels and charging stations. The successful candidate will work closely with ESS suppliers, perform hands-on fieldwork with high-voltage systems, and ensure the safe and efficient operation of power electronic equipment. This role requires extensive field experience, strong knowledge of electrical systems, and a commitment to maintain the highest standards of safety and performance uptime for marinEV vessels.

Overall Responsibilities:

As a Senior Project Engineer you take the lead in the technical work preparation for product development, studies, tenders and commercial projects.

You will assist the project manager and lead a team of engineers to execute the project. In this role you will be the single point of contact for the technical interface with the Client and subcontractors.

After completing the project preparations in the office and fabrication yards, your team will support the vessel crew during the execution on board their crane vessels.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Offshore Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Similar.

• Minimum 8-year experience in engineering, project preparation and execution of offshore projects.

• Work experience in the offshore is mandatory.

• Good understanding of offshore assets and equipment capabilities in order to win, prepare and execute offshore projects.

• Familiar with the offshore oil & gas and renewables business.

• Supervisory and coaching skills to provide guidance to less experienced engineers.

• Willing to work (temporarily) offshore on their vessels, yards, overseas or in our other offices.
