Reporting to the Service Supervisor, in this role you will be part of a National team of Field Service Engineers providing a prompt and effective service to customers within the Water, Power, Petrochemical and other associated Industries.  

In this role you will identify faults, repair, test and modify actuators in the field, carry out planned and preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical installations of actuators and associated retrofit adaption of components, pedestals and drive shafts and completing accurate and technical site visit reports for each job.

This role would suit a determined problem-solver, who can think logically for troubleshooting issues and has the willingness to travel.

The Salary Range for this position $48K to $55K Per Annum.

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Software Development In Test Engineer to help drive the automation testing efforts in our dynamic and innovative team. As a Senior SDET, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by developing and maintaining robust and scalable automation frameworks. Your Impact:

Test Automation Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG)
• Write and execute automated test scripts using various testing tools and frameworks Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and delivery.

Test Planning and Execution:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on requirements and design specifications.
• Perform manual and automated testing of web, mobile, API and Data integration layer applications as needed.

Performance and Load Testing:

• Develop and execute performance, load, and stress tests to identify potential bottlenecks and ensure system reliability.
• Use tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar to simulate real-world usage and assess system performance under different conditions.

Quality Metrics and Reporting:

• Monitor and report on test coverage, defect density, and other key quality metrics; continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of test automation and processes.

Mentorship and Leadership:

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior SDETs and QA engineers.

Who You Are

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on test automation and quality assurance.
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Technical Skills:

• Deep understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.

Soft Skills:

• Strong leadership abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

The Research Associate/Research Fellow will work on a project to conduct the research on development of an AI-Driven Ship Safety Management System. The roles of this position include:

• Develop an AI-driven software to manage ship and crew risks
• Conduct data analysis on the mental and physiological well-being of seafarers
• Develop data-driven methods and models to predict and assess the health of seafarers
• Integrate the developed models and indexes into an online system
• Contribute to manuscript writing, policy paper writing and patent applications related to the project

Job Requirements:

• Master’s Degree (for Research Associate) or PhD Degree (for Research Fellow) in Software Engineering, Data Science, Risk Management, Maritime Studies or related field
• Expertise in any of the following skills, priority will be given to those who have multiple skills: Software development and packaging, Machine learning and data analysis and Prior research experience in occupational health and safety
• Knowledge in the maritime industry is an advantage
• Publication track record is an advantage
• Patent application experience is an advantage
• Proficiency in English and programming - essential for data analysis and communication with stakeholders

Our client is a leading construction company, specialize in marine engineering and land reclamation projects.

• Oversee BIM modelers to create shop drawings.
• Manage schedule for shop drawing preparation/approval and material approval/procurement based on master programme and monitor the status.
• Liaise with BIM team on drawings production to identify conflicts with other trades.
• Work closely with Consultants and Subcontractors to identify the Architectural construction details and M&E services.

Requirements:

• Degree in Architectural or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of building projects experience in Hospital/Medical Facilities.
• Strong knowledge in Singapore Building Codes, BCA CONQUAS and Quality Mark Assessment.
